I never saw zhao zhao clutch that scarf so close to him in the drama..😭 This felt rly emotional omg..Why did they have to cut such an important part?! I swear this bit would've added so much more emotional depth to what he was feeling at that moment in this scene. It wasn't just a scarf..to him it meant everything..it represented the validation, acknowledgement and love he finally received after years of feeling unloved in his childhood. How could they cut this part..just unbelievable..sigh..😭

Yes..omg..don't get me started with the adoptive mother's attitude towards Jin zhao when they met again..like what was that..I wanted to go in there so badly and hug him bcuz that was painful to watch him get treated like this after yrs!..😭

I watched her in LBFAD and MJTY..and all I can say is her acting keeps improving. Idk why ppl criticize her acting bcuz her crying scenes wrecked me so bad in this drama. Her range was def visible in the second arc indeed.

The chemistry of the main leads was def intoxicating and addicting for sure. On top of that we got racing cars, fighter ML aka bad boy energy green flag multi-talented man and the yearning of both of them added even more layers and made it super intriguing. Plus, we were blessed to only focus on one main couple solely with slight romantic interests here and there but there was no 2nd main leads..so no wonder all our attention was captivated and went completely to our main leads. I could go on and on about the charm of this drama but in the end I believe the actors did beyond amazing in bringing their characters to life on screen and made us addicted to their chemistry. It was just super refreshing to see this kind of drama after so long since it had new genres and elements to it; passionate mature romance and badass main leads.

Alas, whenever there's a drama adaptation there's bound to be changes and modifications..this one tho did its best to stay true to the novel apart from a few changes..so I don't rly mind it

I hear you..from what I know Jin Zhao was depicted beautifully in the novel. The drama didn't rly do justice to his character..so yes it could've been better portrayed.
