ngl she only had like one true friend to confide in, Yeong Gang, and she really tried to hide her emotions from the other people, even towards Sangwon, the man she liked, so they wouldn't get uncomfortable. i think he was already affiliated with them since the beginning, i think he was the one to bring him back to the shore soon after he fell into the water as ordered by the squid game group since Jun ho wouldn't have survived considering the harsh conditions the waters were as stated by the captain naturally which is then evidenced in the episodes when they are on the boat.
