After finshing ep26. I just tool a peek of last 5mins. Wth. That was disappointing indeed. Where was the closure we all needed!!!!! And, yeah. Turns out being the antagonist in the end is part of MTH grand plans and the empire was HER DOWRY to ying gua. And. Ot the other way around. As we all thought to be.
