Fun fact guys, according to the short 10 chapters of this novel on the net, the story wasn't supposed to start with her diving for pearls, instead with going to sell them to the merchants. So in technical sense we were not supposed to see her diving for pearls, it seems the production team improvised those scenes in addition. Also her slave part of character is supposed to have bangs
