Why were people hating on the ML character? I went into the drama thinking that he would be an ass to her, but he is genuinely a kind and funny person. He is very straightforward and simple. Their banter is so funny, and him making her speechless with his comebacks is so funny. I am loving the series.

I don't think so; Yeli is fiercely loyal. And he is the one she slightly has a crush on; we can see that she doesn't manipulate him for her revenge, like making him do things for her. She is very protective of him too. Manipulative FL, I would say the FL from the Glory C drama with Chen Duling there used the ML for revenge.

I think she was wandering in the forest alone , you can see why she is afraid of monkeys and she is telling herself that she is not alone to cope with lonliness.

Yep, we have an FL who has a crush on her arranged husband. My girl was happy to get married lol. I love how the FL is not readable by anyone. She is hiding behind the ML, and her enemies are getting torched and buried alive.

Fl family doesnt exist. All dead. Her back story is not shown, very dark things happened. She is kind of psychpathic and manipulative in the early episodes. Her only objective is her revenge and Ml's safety.

ML's family was implicated by her family; something like his brother tried to save his family and got killed. She was also saved by the ML, and she is kind of trying to pay back the gratitude. making sure he is safe and protected.

They changed the ML's setting from the novel. In the novel he was powerful, although he was crippled. Everybody feared and respected him. There were no rituals and confinement; nobody would dare to do that to him.

Lol, why does Yeli look like a possessed patient in the drama? This was not in the novel. They added more backstory to her. I felt horror and thrill from the drama trailers. Whatever they do, please don't touch on the couple dynamics in the novel. The reason I loved the novel was because of their husband-and-wife bond.
