I feel its hypocritical how many of you see the FL. If her character had been male, you would hate him for his coldness and how he is not able to protect his partner from his family. Exact same goes for the ML. If the genders were reversed, you all would have not been surprised that the character is afraid of his in-laws and the possible consequenses for own future, if they try to divorse such a powerful spouse.
