I still don’t see the reason. Maybe they are haters from his own country. I don’t consider myself a fan yet, maybe a casual fan. I enjoy watching his content for sure. I don’t watch every drama of him , If I’m vibing I finish it and if I am not vibing I leave watching midway. I am also telling the truth that it doesn’t feel like over acting .

I wanna recommend ‘Hello Saturday’ episodes . He’s not in every episodes but you will find the episodes of him easily on youtube with subtitles. I watch this regularly for Ding Chengxin. 😂

You understood what I was trying to say. Exactly what you said. Chinese and Thai dramas has its own unique color when it comes to comedy dramas and it may feel overacting and cheesy to new watchers until they get used to it.

I can’t see how he is overacting and cringey. Having watched so many Chinese dramas it feels really normal and I am loving the acting cause the comedy is not over acted. Your comment is completely different from my experience

Yes I think that also. Watching variety shows really made a change. He is so fun and charming in variety shows and his acting in this drama feels like his variety show personality. so I’m vibing with the comedy as I’m already familiar with his humor.

True it’s like coming home. I didn’t know about this drama but I found it at the right time. I was looking for a enjoyable Chinese costume drama for many days.
