hello ! (ㅅ´ ˘ `) ⊹˚.⋆ welcome to my messy profile... let me tell you a story.
It all started with To the beautiful you (아름다운 그대에게). Back then, I didn't know that one drama would open a door to a lifelong obsession. What began as a single watch has turned into a long-term journey through countless worlds, spanning different eras, languages, and lives.
I’m a true explorer of storylines. My heart is open to every genre:
🌸 Heart-fluttering romances that make me blush.
🔪 Gritty thrillers that keep me up until 3 AM.
🏠 Slice-of-life stories that feel like a warm hug.
For me, the soul of a drama is its characters. There is such a unique joy in "meeting" them for the first time, learning their secrets, and cheering for their growth. But because I get so invested, I’m definitely the type to get teary-eyed when the final episode rolls around.
Saying "goodbye, see you soon" to a cast I’ve grown to love is never easy—it feels like leaving old friends behind. But that’s the beauty of this journey; there is always a new world waiting to be discovered, and another story just a "play" button away.
My ratings use a 1–10 scale
| Rating | Tier name | Meaning |
|---|
| 10 | Masterpiece | Flawless or near-flawless execution across all elements (acting, script, direction, cinematography, score). |
| 8–9.5 | Almost perfect | Captivating and highly impressive, with only very minor, negligible flaws (e.g., one slightly weak scene, a fleeting technical error). Highly recommended and nearly essential viewing. |
| 7–7.5 | Very good | Strongly recommended, solid entertainment. A good script and decent execution. |
| 5.5–6.5 | Average/Mediocre | It's fine, but doesn't excel in any area. It successfully tells its story but lacks inspiration, originality, or emotional impact. |
| 4–5 | Slightly disappointing | Some aspects work (maybe one performance or a cool concept), but they are overshadowed by poor execution, weak writing, or glaring technical mistakes. |
| 1–3.5 | Poor | A fundamentally flawed work. Major problems in key areas (e.g., confusing plot, awful dialogue, poor editing) make it a frustrating watch, despite a flicker of potential. |
