The reason why she doesn't get many views is overseas promotions aren't a priority.the song you mentioned in your post wasn't even on Spotify the day it was released. Overseas fan can't even buy the album
The ratings here is still too low , Fei's last drama has a 7.5 here and that was utter trash. You don't mean to tell me this is 0.1 better than a drama where her character gets sexually assaulted, and she is fine the next day about it. Like I wanna know .

Weren't her contingency plans on dealing with him more self defense heavy? Like she was training for self defense. She probably never realized he would stoop that low considering his abusing tactics were far more physical in nature judging from the flashbacks.Thats why she had a knife in her hand when she got up from the table.

She's writing a manuscript based on her own life experiences with her former ex , who was an abuser. Basically every Fable tells a part of her psyche of dealing with the abuse and there is a lesson from every one which manifests into a singular message ,and their isn't a secondary couple. The closest romance arc is Putao's former lovers ,one who she found refuge with after escaping her abuser (you need to watch the drama to find out his fate) and another one is her abuser who still chasing after her.
The ratings are criminally low here. It's sad to see this drama at below 8, where so many mediocre dramas easily…
Judging by what I saw on douban , people who were rating it low basically didn't like the way the story flowed in the first three fables ,they needed "the good stuff" right away. They sorta needed instant gratification. That audience is probably here also .I honestly think it's a good allegory for discussing mental health ,the first fables are basically the manifestation of FL's way of coping with domestic abuse.In a way ,it reminds me of sucker punch. FL's uses her manuscript as a way of escaping the real world . The characters in the stories are all by products of her real life experiences,every fable has a consequence which the FL feels like is because of her.I honestly don't know what the ending might be ,but if her former lover finds her and confronts her ......oh boy.

I don't get it either ,it's competently laid out and made,better than some kdramas I watched, Fei's first drama cover the sky has 7.1 here,and that shit was absolute garbage. Like I wanna know what's not clicking with people.idgi.
