I totally get you and that's why even after being disappointed in not understanding FL' feelings I was adamant that I will get this sorted with fans like you and rewatch it. Coz this is totally my style and I was irritated with myself on not getting the nuances of their relationship. It is so tiring and boring to watch 'green flags' all the time. Its like Chinese/ Korean don't dare enter this domain. Thats why I get my fix with books.

Hey, I learned something new, what is red flag lovers and green flag lover? Also, I agree that in Chinese and Korean space there are hardly any red flag lovers. Everything is so hunky dory or angsty. But never extreme personalities. I would really like to see a drama where they really let go.

Actually, my opinion differs a little. SML did want her but she refused. Plus, I don't believe she ever loved him. She may admire, like, respect him & be grateful coz of the previous lifetime. She had heavy guilt when it came to SML. Plus their personalities never matched even in current lifetime.

You maybe right but I don't see it. Thats sad coz throughout the series I kept feeling that something was missing and despite being a good one, I felt disappointed. I had hoped with better perspective I can rewatch and enjoy it. Thank you for your insights.

Ok, then where does sudden love come from in the last few episodes. There is no base for it at all.

Can somebody help me understand, why FL treated the ML the way she did it especially when ML confessed his feelings? I mean I get why she acted like that in the earlier episodes but she continued being cautious almost to end. I did not feel the romance from FL side at all, hell it cannot even be counted as slow burn. It just cropped up all of a sudden towards the end. She knows this is new life and not the old one so her extreme fear and then love all of a sudden left me confused.

The Long Ballad is a slow slow burn romance. Keep that in mind.

This is his own voice? Wow...I have only watched Falling into your smile and there his voice was really good and apt. But his original voice in this drama is amazing. It goes with the character.

In the middle of watching Ep 9 and for the time a series has actually shown truly that if a ML is powerful then he is powerful. So many times they say a character is this All powerful being and always end up short.

then it makes sense to use VA, thanks for sharing. But I believe it is production's responsibility to use the best VA. In 'Who rules the world' they used VA for Lusi and Yang Yang...and I could not detect at all.
