In India, Youku, Iqiyi are quite expensive. Don't know why they don't have a more reasonable pricing to attract more viewers. Even Viki is quite expensive.

Yes that's it....with the wait, the emotions that follow each episode gets messed up waiting for next episode.

All those watching the drama live, I am jealous of you guys coz I am dying to watch this show but I hate waiting. I am going to binge watch once it ends. Plus on Netflix the episodes gets released very late so my waiting period will extend....hate the wait both ways...

Absolutely captivating from the first moment they met. You said you knew FL would end alone, why is that? Does life's struggle and finally achieve something mean you cannot have happily ever after? Does a journey have to end on a sad note, romantically? Would like to hear your perspective. Cheers

I believe we should block such users who if they don't understand or emphasise with mental issues have not right to judge or belittle. They are one of the worst kind of people on earth. Every 5th person in the world is struggling mentally.

The moment I read your comment I was like..she is like me. The blossoming love was also my first experience for watch a live drama and I hated the experience. More than patience for waiting I think it ruined the mood/ emotions I develop for the series. Hats off to people who watch live dramas.

Currently re-watching this amazing series and I realised there was a plot/scene for which I had immense anger at execution. Tao Deity is so powerful and yet in his first fight he is so badly wounded that he dies. Its so stupid to show someone this immensely powerful yet at the moment of delivery he fizzles. His death really hit me hard and was so unfair.

I guess China Director's try to target all sort of audience using this trick but it undermines the beauty of such drama's. Plus both parties complain, those who want romance and those who don't, so I guess only Director is happy.

I don't understand why romance is expected? There is no romance tag and secondly, who are these small minded people who rate it low coz there is no romance. It seriously baffles me. Sometimes filler romance fucks up the whole drama ref. Luoyang.

Masterpiece, what phenomenal acting by the leads. One of the rare natural chemistry and acting. Ending - not deserving of the series, there were so many ways it could have been spinned. If it was possible for me I would have knocked off Dr's teeth in the series. I was so disappointed to know that this drama did not do well....its seriously shocking how?

Just finished this and I agree with you. Hate and revenge was not at par with what was dished out to the ML. His underlying softness was there from the first episode. Tbh this drama I watched only for the ML...he was so damn sexy. I was really not expecting logical and fine tuned plot.

Your inputs on Teresa Li are so on point and I couldn't agree more. I am so incredibly tired of ditzy characters and you won't believe the dramas I have dropped just coz of FL characterisation. Thank god this FL lead had pride and self esteem.

What a thoughtful, intricate, rich and charming critique of the series. I can see your adoration and it proves that so many who bring down are never really going to appreciate the richness it offers. Among the numerous negative comments, one that really gets my ire is where the viewers are looking at it from the perspective of a typical idol drama, which it is clearly not.

The FL & SML did a fantastic job...Bin Bin was as usual good.

Agree completely. I just finished watching this series and someone who has lived in a foreign country I could not 100% accept this scenario. Leaving aside that ML was wrong in his part, why were you looking at him only to help with your loneliness? Bloody hell, I was waiting for some major reason for break up/angst and when it was finally revealed I was like "WTF?"... Plus the ending, just a night before you refused him and the next morning you accepted him.
