well I have to watch this drama at any cost so I will just keep cursing Hao Chen to satisfy my need to slap him to Sunday.

Just rewatched the show and she mentions in her inner monologue that she fell first and it was her dream to be with him but she pushed it back and forgot about it. Why? Plus none of her actions reflect anything of that sort...For me this was a little unbelievable & confusing.

Tell me...I have been pretty confused about this point - did FL had romantic feelings for ML since school? Yes she cared for and supported him like friends....Never in any flashbacks I saw romantic interest from the FL.

tell me the secret of tolerating Senior Hao Chen...I stopped this series at Ep 29 coz I wanted to punch his face so bad....I am so in love with this series and want to restart with the intention to finish this time. Just cannot tolerate Hao Chen...to the extreme.

I said something similar after watching the first 9 Eps and was labeled as "ML supporter and critique FL always". I totally agree that she is casted wrong.

Please tell me there will be a season 2....

Just imagine if HL leads had actually been part of this... It would have made people like us go crazy....

I wish I can forget I watched HL and watch it again to experience it all.

When you say "y'all"..you need to be specific coz that's a very macro view. You don't know how I critique FL and ML of dramas so why this statement?

I am sure I am in the minority here but after watching 9 eps, I can say the biggest drawback of this drama are its dialogues. Trite, repetitive and boring. I feel as if the Director banked on ZLH's popularity and cut corners. I was so looking forward to ZLH's drama and I find it so so. Hope it improves in later episodes. FL lead, its my first time watching her and her expressions need a lot of work. Visuals alone cannot carry a show.

Though it really begs the question that there is no dearth of good actresses who would fit the role (age wise) so why go for FL leads where viewers have to struggle to accept. Hell I dropped Double coz of this, mismatch in looks was so glaring.

Regarding storyline, I think they are gonna milk this concept dry. I only hope its done well and interesting in Si Jin.

creativity in Xianxia is seriously lacking.

Does the story not remind you of The Double? Even there the FL was not rightly placed in terms of age.
