I will still like AYTO even if Douban gives it 6 ☺️

But my fave remains The Blood of Youth, Who Rules the World, Legend of Heroes (and all To Liong To trilogy version), Reset & Lighter & Princess for modern dramas.

One error can mean many errors in many dramas too.
JOL2 may also get lower rating than what is displayed at Douban, to be fairly speaking.

As great as JOL2 can be, not everyone is into wuxia+comedy.

This drama may have some sloppy writing in character details and in wrapping the history side, but as a romance genre, the story is nice and entertaining to watch.
It also gains more recognition after half of the whole episodes were aired

Both dramas can be great to its own fans.
JOL2 gets higher rate in MDL and Are You the One gets the rare 8 in Douban.

Novel version are relatively better than the live action, and reading a book give plenty of room for imagination. Even the greatest movie adaptation ever made, The Lord of the Rings, is still 'losing' to the amazing books JRR Tolkien wrote many years ago.

Live action version is for visual purpose, to those who enjoy watching than reading.
