You definitely won't appreciate this series if you keep comparing it to the two Chinese versions, Addicted and Stay with Me. For me, this series offers a different flavor. It has its flaws, but I always look forward to the next episode, even though I already know the storyline. In my opinion, the gentleness of this drama is much better than the discomfort I felt with Addicted, although that doesn't mean Addicted wasn’t good. I adore the strong chemistry between the two male leads in that version. Stay with Me is top-tier and was so good, but I hate that they left us hanging with the unfinished story. That version gave me a bittersweet experience.
As for this series, it’s good enough to watch. What I like most is the softness and sweetness. Think about it—if this version copied the other two Chinese versions exactly, it would be boring because we already know the story. That's why I understand the pacing of the episodes. Ultimately, it all comes down to the viewer’s point of view. If it’s not your cup of tea, then there's nothing more I can say about it.
