True, let's just chalk it up to my obsession with the drama lol. I will do better going forward 😂😂😂. Although, I also quite enjoy the discourse, it's interesting to read other's take on a drama that I am also enjoying.

She might be young and inexperienced, and I honestly believe that majority of her decisions and actions stem from this point, however, being inexperienced doesn't mean she is naive. She is very much aware of the effect her actions have on YCX.
Now, let's talk about her reactions throughout the scene that belie the fact that she was there simply to repay her benefactor in kind, reactions that could easily be misconstrued as sending mixed signals: First, she was visibly upset to see him handcuffed, and she was also visibly upset everytime he said things that implied that they meant nothing to each other. If he was simply her benefactor and nothing more, why was she hurt when called her an outsider and that she had no business being in his?
Speaking of boundaries, she blatantly ignored his refusal for her help, as well as his request for her to stay out of his business; so irrespective of what drove her actions, she also crossed his boundaries there.

I am not faulting YPJ for being the way she is. She is a compassionate woman and to an extent that, as well as wanting to repay his 'kindness', could explain her actions at that moment; however, everything she did in the scene cannot simply be chalked up to 'repaying his kindness'. Her conflicted feelings towards YCX was definitely at the forefront of her actions there.

Speaking of her feelings towards YCX: In my humble opinion, I do not think her feelings have anything to do with Stockholm syndrome. Now hear me out; While YCX might be the one with the visible power, in their 'relationship', YPJ has always been the one in actual control - from the very beginning. She was never held captive, nor did she feel threatened for her safety that she had to pander to YCX in anyway, or at any given time. So that is why I disagree with the point that her feelings may be a result of Stockholm syndrome taking effect.

I hear you on this, but I do not completely agree with you on it.

"He saved her, so she tried to save him", that argument does not fully hold in that scene in episode 20. Every time he has saved her, she has welcomed it, she has been glad to have him there. That was not the case in that scene. He did not want her saving him. He told her repeatedly to leave, she refused and forged on. That action of hers was confusing.

Furthermore, She was absolutely reckless in that situation: She was running her mouth in front of men carrying guns of different shapes and sizes, men who would have had no qualms raining her body with bullets for her 'rudeness'. That level of recklessness she displayed in trying to save him, not caring about the consequences, seems very similar to the level of recklessness he has displayed thus far whenever it involves saving her. His excuse for that recklessness is his love for her. What exactly is hers? Just because he saved her ? That does not add up.

Actually, his constant intel is the only thing keeping HER alive 😂😂

You see this part right here, it pretty much explains where YPJ's seemingly blind affection towards JXT stems from; it's all her mom's.

As someone else mentioned on here, this a typical example of the psychological phenomenon called "Introjection" (so basically when an individaul unconsciously adopts the ideas, attitudes, or behaviors of another person or group, often an authority figure). The way she got so emotional and felt guilty after her mother said all that was so telling. This was definitely not the first time her mother had diminished her discomfort in favour of JXT's feelings.

I honestly think this was her ploy. If she truly wanted to end her life, why wait until he got back and she had his full attention? She could have just done it while he was away at work.

So if I needed further evidence that what YPJ really feels for JXT is more companionship than love, then her reaction to finding out what JXT had been up to in Japan would be it. Like her reaction was giving rational, sibling/friend-type disappointment; there was nothing lover-like about it AT ALL 😂😂.

When one compares what she put herself through because of her 'love' to her reaction after finding out that the object of said 'love' had been in a relationship with someone else in Japan (irrespective of his reasons), then it becomes clear that YPJ seems to be in love with the idea of loving JXT rather than actually loving him.

Exactly, she is not as opposed to him as tries to make it seem. Her actions often belie her words. Where YCX is concerned, YPJ's feelings are conflicted, but then again, his actions are not exactly helping.

YCX is a great guy - with flaws, yes, plenty of it - but a darling nonetheless. His way of using control and power to try to gain YPJ's affection is similar to what he did with his father: Cornering his father, both literally and figuratively, finally won him his father's acknowledgement and affections. So trying to win another person's affections for the second time in his life, is it really strange that he would use a similar strategy to achieve it? No, it's not. That strategy worked the first time. As a matter of fact, everyone else who had acknowledged him afterwards did so after realising just how much control and power he actually wields. Control and power have stood the test of time in getting people to finally 'see' him, so is it any wonder that he would flounder about like a fish fresh out of water when dealing with a person who doesn't give two flying birds about either of those things?

However, one of the most beautiful attributes about him is that HE IS TEACHABLE. He practically told her that in the calligraphy scene in episode 14. I am glad he finally let her go, for both of their sanity.

Exactly, there is this understanding she has that YCX would never truly hurt her past the point of what she can handle. As crazy as this might sound to some people, that is exactly what happened in episode 14.
