I am glad you liked it. I am planning to rewatch it while waiting for one of the dramas to complete airing its 40 episodes! I never watch dramas that doesn’t have all the episodes available 😆

I couldn’t stop laughing while watching this!! It’s slow, but you can’t fast forward it, because you would missed how he was slowly falling in love with her. He liked playing house with her!! To be fair to him, every time he open his mouth to confess, she insults his alter ego!lol! And his friend the quake… basically two stooges, kings of denials…lol!! I enjoyed watching this drama. I liked him better than in Lost you forever!!! I found that drama to be tedious with so much drama! Pardon the pun. If you like to watch something not too serious, not too cringy and dramatic, but fun and lighthearted , but does not get utterly comic this is the one. Somehow the story teller managed to keep the right balance.

I wish they get rid of all the women from these kind of dramas. They are just nuisance in Wuxia dramas, unless they are also marshal art masters and have a mission to accomplish. Iove boys bonding over and messing around to , women playing dim wit martyr!!!

I love these two actors! But the whole drama of 48 episodes of nothing?!! Even skipping five to ten episodes, I was astounded to find that story has nothing in it!! All the potting of one idiot against a man , for a revenge for an injustice that supposedly happened when both of them were in their damn nappies?!! Please!! Who ever wrote the story is a time waster and then the production team who decided to create a drama out of it, wasted lot of good resources for nothing.

I am on episode 09 and thinking I MUST BE A PRICED IDIOT to keep watching this drama!! The FL play a complete dummy character and I want to thump her so she get some smart brain, if she is to play the sleuth!! I have seen some pretty dumb FL characters in Chinese dramas, but this one takes the cake!!😂😂 by the way is dumb FLs are in demand in China, that all these writers seem to have emancipated the FL strength to nothingness?!! 😆😆

Thank you. To be honest I don’t believe any one of those guys truely loves her therefore deserves her. All of them put self interest before her. If I have a choice, she would be roaming the world , bein carefree physician . But seen as it is she likes Jing she will end up with him. With someone like him , she will always feel lonely and have to rely on her own self. She should never have fallen in love with him in the first place. When he ran away leaving her to be beaten up by her brother and sister, when they abused Mr Mo. He didn’t even warn her!!! And then that nine headed demon!!! He seemingly help her, but she always pay a price for it. He seems to have death wish of a kind so won’t be there for her. Her brother/ cousin keep marrying other women to get more power, albeit in pretex of being able to protect her, but power that comes through a marriage will end when that marriage goes into a mess. Most importantly she tells him she will only marry a man who will have only her in his life, so he really shouldn’t try anything else, seen as he doesn’t qualify. And then the fourth suitor , FF . I am pretty sure she has only friendship towards him, and he too is fascinated by her but not really in love with her. Infact I don’t think he is in love with her at all. Likely he will marry other women if the opportunity presents or circumstances change and he has to.
Like I said , she is better off without any of them 😁

I just happened to caught the trailer for this show. It doesn’t end well for anyone by the looks of that… or she is having a weird premonition of a sort!! Just finished watching season 1. Not sure I want to continue watching it in season 2 after watching that trailer.

Thank you. Yes, I read something about special episodes too. I do wish that writers protect the integrity of their work. Subtle changes to story script writing is acceptable, but not changes that harms the creativity of the writer’s work.

I just finished 40 episodes of this story. Last 10 minutes of the 40th episode is like. Watching the Journey to Love all over again. Not that the stories are similar or anything. It was a foolish decision to show war scenes in that short a period, then to kill off his faithful subordinates within two seconds of each other and leaving him to fight a battle singularly?!! I mean there is no show of his troops there, all you see is army of men attacking these three and he the sole survivor facing more enemies AFTER killing the leader of the enemy troops. Then him returning to his lovers side unscathed?!! I tell you that’s an against impossible odds! Don’t get me wrong, I love the story, but last episode was just crazy?!! Not planned well. There is lots of trip down the memory lane from villains. Viewers are not stupid, they don’t need 10 -15 minutes of back stories of the villains connection to each other. Carefully crafted dialogue within a scene can achieve it perfectly if the creators are clever. That would have saved time for more important developments of the story and a better ending. Another issue is the story is light heartedly written even with all the political machinations. It should end with a light hearted storyline rather that unnecessary killings of lovable characters they created and maintained throughout the whole of 39 episodes. Someone please tell me what was the end in the story book? Assuming this was from a novel.

I am not sure why some say the revenge was not completed. He took justice for his brother lawfully . Every single one of them paid a price. The best part is he enabled the very people who were part of the bullying to come clean. As far as I am concerned, the story is a simple matter of , seeking justice for his brother, to find out how his life came to a such end, punish the people who were responsible. In the end he decided the school system need to change and take accountability for their decisions and actions in what was happening in that school as school itself is enabling the kids into a culture of bullying and violence without any consequences to the perpetrators. I think it’s just a simple story line that doesn’t need in-depth review as such. The young actors done well within the character constraints they weregiven to bring the story to a conclusion.

I put it off watching this drama thinking it’s going to be a bad end. I finally gave in and watched it.
I must say I was hooked from the get go. The story is coming of age of a terminally ill young woman. She doesn’t have time to dilly dally with young puppy love. She chose well. She herself says that she can only love once. So it goes to show her love for a mature man because she never going to grow old with a young love. He on the other hand experienced love and separation of the most painful kind. His love for her didn’t materialise until he was convinced that she may behave like a child but her love for him was not the supercilious kind. He actually has what she needs. Stability and freedom to be herself. Mom is quite controlling out of worry. When you know your time at life is uncertain, that’s the last thing you want.
Story therefore well written. It’s not written to satisfy puppy love expectations or to be age appropriate pairing of a live story. Title itself suggests it. The way it ends also appropriate. “ I am not going back, I am tired. I want to sleep for a bit from her and you sleep, I will be here from him is quite an ending to their love story.
It’s a beautiful story between two people who don’t need long conversations and apologies. Like it or not they do have dilemmas , like any, but they don’t take time coming together.
I loved both the actors. They were well suited.
