Seonjae will obviously remember that but he will pretend he doesnât know her since Sol would pretend she doesnât remember him. So, Seonjae will probably assume that his Sol isnât back yet and he needs to maintain distance from the past Sol in order to not scare her.

I do not remember the taxi driverâs inmateâs statementđ But you are right about the taxi driver going to Seonjaeâs concert. My assumption is maybe he went there to look for Sol(?) Since her house had changed so maybe he hoped he would find her there. And in both timelines Seonjae visited Solâs apartment so maybe the taxi driver realised Seonjae is the thorn in his path and he should remove Seonjae first. These are all theories at this point. I hope we get more insight on the taxi driverâs pov. Why is he after Sol, what was his intention in 2023, etc.
Guys I read a new theory and this makes sense. I am hoping this is accurate and not the amnesia trope theories. So, the taxi driver was arrested in 2009. Sol returned to the future but she canât meet Seonjae because she has figured out that the taxi driver targeted Seonjae because of her. So, if she doesnât meet him, then the taxi driver will not go after him. If you have read the novel then you would know that Sol pretended to not have remembered Seonjae when she returned to the future. My guess is we will get them pretending they donât know each other for their sakes (Seonjae thinking his Sol is not back yet). And then ep 14âs cliffhanger ends with their confrontation with the taxi driver in the future. This time they do end up defeating him and Sol confesses that she remembers. We get 2 episodes of romcom. Happy ending.

Naah I hope all these theories are incorrect but the one thing that is troubling me is that we still have 4 more episodes to go. And hopefully they donât fill it with unnecessary angst (like the above theories). I would prefer romcom instead of it.
I do not know what to expect from the still cuts released by Tvn. There are a lot of theories created now but I genuinely hope that the theory of Seonjae forgetting Im Sol is not accurate. I am not a fan of amnesia trope specially here. Seonjaeâs unrequited love and his pure love for Sol for 15yrs added to the charm of the show. So, I hope they do not follow this path.
