My theory is that the taxi driver was only convicted due to Sol’s incident. What if her memories is the key…
Wasn’t he convicted beacuse he killed someone in 2009? Didn’t they say something like this in the news report of Seonjae’s death. I don’t remember correctly what it was. And Sol only knows he tried to kidnap and kill her in 2008 but nothing actually happened in this timeline. I’m guessing the taxi driver kidnapped Sol in 2009 and Seonjae came to save her and someone probably was killed (possibly Taesung’s father). So, the taxi driver was arrested and when he got released Sol was notified because she was almost going to be his victim. Now, since she has changed the accident in 2008, the only additional charge against the taxi driver is that he had kidnapped her. That’s it. She doesn’t even know if he had killed someone before her. So, her being the key to determine the taxi driver was a serial killer seems kinda difficult.
My theory was that Seonjae and Sol became friends after her first accident in 2008 and after future Sol returned. Then they had the incident in 2009 and Sol broke contact with Seonjae. Maybe this time around future Sol would experience the incident and so, the past Sol wouldn’t be traumatised and won’t break off her friendship with Seonjae which would lead to them finally dating. But then in the preview of ep 9, it was revealed that Sol always kept running away from Seonjae so my theory got quashed. According to some leaks we do know that Soljae would be dating in college so if future Sol is dating past Seonjae then his heart will break again when she leaves. So, I can see only two possibilities here, either Seonjae isn’t dead in this timeline (he is in a coma instead) and he time travels too with Sol, or, Sol never returns back to the future and stays in the past. But then if the second possibility is true then, wouldn’t it mess up the timeline. Damn I have really lost my mind.
I have some questions. If Sol changes the past again then Seonjae will forget their moments in the future. Right? What is Sol trying to change in her college era? I mean even though the taxi driver attacked them they both had no serious injuries and the taxi driver did go to jail. So what is Sol trying to avoid this time? Is she trying to not get Seonjae involved? That is the only explanation I can think of 😅

Next week we will get their college era and based on the preview seems like someone is hitting on Seonjae. A girl was sitting on his side on the bus. It’s just an assumption but it seemed like she would be hitting on Seonjae. I hope Sol doesn’t avoid Seonjae for long and they get together in ep 9 itself.
I found the painting scene hilarious 🤣 The way Seonjae said that he would take it down so Sol can take it home gawd😅 The kiss was so intense. I could feel the yearning, the love, the chemistry and the warmth. It made me feel all fuzzy🥰 Sol can get anything with her cuteness. The way he kept agreeing to everything waah. And damn the embarrassment I felt when Sol saw the cutout😂 Seonjae screaming NO…gawd just hilarious. Finally we saw Taesung. We’ll know if he is indeed involved in the whole time travel thing in the next episode.

I don’t know what to say. Damn. I loved every moment. And I was prepared for the cliffhanger ending but I wanted them to continue the adult romance for one more episode. Mainly because I didn’t want Soljae to separate just after dating for one day and also I couldn’t wait a week with that ending.
