I don’t quite understand when you said childish? She’s acting like her age. To 14-17 if by liking cute stuff/ acting shy infront of ur crush or occasionally having a tantrum with her brother is childish then she is “childish” but imma say this again. People with different cultures/country act differently. Her behavior is considered normal in china

I personally find her very cute. the whole time I was just fangirling over how cute she is but it’s probably bc I’m used to it, I read a lot of Chinese novel and its also bc due to cultural thing, girls in china are tend to be more pampered especially if they’re the only child also the language but really can’t blame these ppl tho , they are too used to those tough fl in kdrama who only get bullied by everyone 😭

You’re just not used to Chinese language and That’s how her character in the novel, she’s very shy and timid bc of how pampered she is by her family but despite her being spoiled she grow up to be humble and strong especially when it comes to ppl she care. She would protect them at all cost and I personally find her very cute but not cringe unlike those aegyo in kdrama

I’m not trying to compare but this drama serve what kdrama could never serve. its been so long since a drama could make me feel so happy each episode. Everything is so perfect I want to give it 100 ⭐️ the cast, the acting, simple and pure love story and good ost 👏👏👏 this drama prove you don’t need complicated plot and big budget to make the viewers satisfied. Truly Deserve all the hype and success
