I'm not generalizing and saying that all romance genre is like this or they are only famous once if you misunderstood me ; there are actually so many good and wonderfully written romances and other genres drama that are quite famous globally but this won't deny that romance seems to favor with the global audience and the story will become popular more quickly whether it's good or not.

After years of watching cdramas, romantic once are very popular even if the story is ridiculous, as long as the series contains romantic scenes and numerous kisses it will be absolutely super famous
For example, another moderen drama starring bailu 'only for love' is very popular internationally despite the absurdity of the plot

I haven't watched yet too i came here to get a general idea and some first impressions and all i read was about how the investigation plot it's not their cup of tea or askinng about romance and it made me confused what they were expecting to find here if it's not their genre
