I somehow can get convinced or enjoy LGX as the so called "ancient immortal". Maybe its because he is not in the age to play such a role idk but something feels missing. I felt they made LGX act in the drama for the sake of PA fans. I am not telling he is bad actor but its just that he is suitable for such a powerful yet young character.

My thoughts exactly. It started getting interesting from ep. 5.
The only thing I like is the FL is badass and won't submit to anything, and still fights against who forces her.. Not like those bubbly, shy type of FL we had in some dramas. I hope she bears with this mess

I didn't say it was slow, just so its short. Like some of the elements or plot isn't explained completely, so if they have a longer duration they will have a chance to incorporate more elements and explain it well..

I am definitely a bit confused in gu chengjin's story.. Like I felt they didn't explain it well, or we may get to see that in the future? He is definitely related to story or the ML since we can see that when XY sees GCJ we get to see a flashback..

Yea normally xianxia drama's are atleast 45 to 50 mins long.. But we only get to see them for like 34 to 35 mins excluding the ost's which is sad..

The only thing I would like to complain is about the duration of each ep, its just 37 mins which is way to short, I hoped for a 45 mins duration but yeah.

I am actually kinda happy that the mortal arc came to an end even tho I did enjoy those parts with some comedy, now we are going into some serious plot change., that seems quite interesting!
