After a ton of office dramas that bored me to sleep, this one is surprisingly refreshing and cozy. It has enough drama to keep things spicy but not the kind that makes you want to scream at the screen(yet?) Perfect for the season, and even the draggy bits seems to add to it. Can't wait to see more.
I came in expecting a crime/suspense revenge narrative after loving price of confession and was emotionally wrecked by the end of it. Beautifully made, but it hurt like hell.
It's amazing how this went from a potential gl to the straight male ideal romance fantasy centered around the hero jaepil. Like I am not even mad, but genuinely fascinated, like there is enough potential to write a paper on it.
I suppose there are two more episodes where anything could happen, regardless can't wait!
Hey. Does anyone know in ep27 the characters that hide HY and tells her to beat the drum, Lan and shen I think, are important or present in some other work of the author? Or do they have more of a role in the novel? Those two felt important and there was no other explanation offered in the drama and now it's bugging me.
It's a great Drama by the way, it's been ages since I've seen a Chinese drama were I couldn't predict what was going to happen next. And this is undoubtedly one of the best villains I've seen on c-drama land.
Is anybody else feeling something off about HQ's dad? Like he isn't the sweet redeemed heartbroken old man he is currently pretending to be.
It's also notable that we don't know what HQ did with the evidence she had HRZ fetch that does incriminate her father in My Yao's case. She was gonna burn it, but we don't see it....
Came in expecting the light hearted rom-com on a farm where the leads are supposed to peacefully make money together as the trailer promised. 6 episodes in and I want to commit mass murder on the family. But otherwise it's pretty good
Genuinely love the make up here and (attempts) at showing actual tanned skin as it should be within the settings. I've been a huge fan of the FL for a while and she is even more stunning when she is not painted white.
