This show has too much Dynamic Range Compression which adjusts every single sound to be all at the same volume level. This also includes all of the soft sounds which will be at the same volume level as the louder sounds. They need to lay off the Dynamic Range Compression so that we'll be able to hear some character in each characters.
I like this BL but Taiwan, please use less Dynamic Range Compression. I can't turn up the volume to a reasonable level because it's ear fatiguing and I can turn it down because I can't hear what they are saying. It's like every sound is at the same volume level.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. I understand that the actors' ages and their ability to portray younger characters can be an interesting topic. My initial comment was just an observation about the actors' appearances and how they manage to convincingly play their roles despite being older.
I agree that the most important thing is how well the actors bring their characters to life and create that chemistry on screen. It's impressive how Sheng Wang and Jiang Tian have managed to do that so effectively.

Yes, both characters are portrayed as minors. However, having lived in a predominantly Asian neighborhood in San Francisco for a long time, I can usually gauge someone's age quite accurately. When I started watching this BL, I immediately noticed that the actors did not look like minors. In fact, when this was filmed, none of the male actors were under 24 years old. Most were in their late 20s to mid-30s. For comparison, here is a BL where the actors are actually underage:

Until you see Sheng Wang (Liu Dong Qin 31) in high resolution. He can grow a lot of facial hair. You can see the rough parts in his face where he can grow hair. They try to cover it up. Now Jiang Tian's (Benjamin Tsang) face is smooth and cute, even though he is 29.
You know how you never ask a woman her age? Because Seagame Phadtraruengrid Namwongyot doesn't reveal his age tells me that he's more likely a "B" than he is a "T".
The English translation is terrible. The translator has a problem with pronouns. They use him for her and her for him and sometimes uses "it" when they are not sure.
Everyone just keeps whining. It was meant to be awkward. I guess you guys cannot relate because your brains are not wired like autistic people's brains are. I'm autistic and that is why I can understand the weirdness……haka. The only thing that got my attention was the very ending. I'm thinking that they didn't finish the series （unless there is something I don't know here).
Lazy? What about the way Taiwanese people pronounce 'S' vs 'Sh' and 'Z' vs 'Zh'? It's barely comprehensible.
That sounds better to my ears than the "R" sound in "many" (not all) parts of mainland China. It literally sounds like they have something caught in their throat. Keep in mind that my partner is from the mainland and his mandarin Chinese sound so much better and he's from a city outside of Bejing. He has no issues when pronouncing "R" sounds in his language or when speaking words in English that have the letter "R" in them.
On a different thought, the way that mainland Chinese pronounces the "R" is so annoying. Taiwan's mandarin sound so much better. I guess over 100's of years the mainland started speaking lazy Chinese. Just like lazy English, every language has a lazy version. For example: Many people say "wader" when it supposed to be "Water". "Layder" when it's supposed to be "later".
Taken that this is from China, I'm guessing the message behind this whole series is that no matter how many times you try to change Chinese society's view of homosexuality, you will ultimately have to accept the fact of the type of relationship society wants you to have (in terms of same sex romantic relationships), and that is only a "bromatic" relationship because homosexuality will always be forbidden no matter how you try to change that.
Episode 6 was a huge waste of time. This flashback stuff is not entertaining. Before this episode, I was giving a 5-star. Now I lowered it to a 4-star.
