It’s obviously good to explore new ideas and try new concepts but the incest storyline is rapidly becoming a trope now, in my opinion. I’ve seen it played out a lot in both long form and shorter length series.
I haven’t watched any verticals so I don’t know about that but I’ve heard people mention they’re saucier!
Are the censorship rules different because of popularity? Or they’re like a testing ground for what the public finds acceptable?
Sure but in this context the man is clearly suffering from depression, doesn’t seem like the optimal moment for coughing/spitting/vomiting regardless of if it’s a trope from early literature…
At this point I’m wondering if the fake blood industry has some kind of under the table deal with the costume drama production teams… ML must cough up X blood per Y episodes…
Many Full Length costume dramas had great long hair wigs because of their high budgets. They are flowy, shiny,…
If a production company is constantly making shorts ( like in this case) why not just invest in a set of good quality wigs and re use them? Seems more efficient than constantly buying cheap ones 🤷🏽♀️
Is it just me but it feels like it was adapted from the novel in which fight for love was based on.
Agreed. I think it’s a shame they didn’t stagger the releases more. It’s not been long since ‘fight for love’ ended so it’s hard not to feel you’re watching it for the second time with a fast forward button!
ok, so I'm confused. based on ep 9-10, the crown prince was nowhere near a prince. how did he become one? also,…
I expect the subtitles are confusing the matter here.
The ML was the general’s son, killed with the spear then resurrected with the same method as the FL. The voice on the first episode mentions two people. We don’t know yet who or how they resurrected but it appears to be due to a thirst for vengeance.
After resurrection he presented himself as the long son of the Wan family, unknown yet if he just found an opening for revenge or if he had a similar experience to the FL lead and met the son.
He becomes the heir to the Wan family title who are I assume City Lords/ landed gentry rather than actual royalty. It’s confusing because the subtitle is as crown prince but judging by the language used it seems to be a mistranslation.
The white haired prince, is referred to as your highness so a member of the royalty.
If I’m then looking for something to watch I can go through recs from my favourite shows.
It’s a shame with the down voting though because things are that less than 7 I never even consider watching.
Maybe I should be more open minded and find some hidden gems!

That’s my understanding anyway, hope it helps.
