But TSJ pleaded his grandma to break off the engagement, or delay his wedding whilst being discreet about the reason. He tried his best ( atleast in my opinion) to not put XY in a compromising exposure that she is the one he truly loves bec doing so would create more conflicts and might compromise XY’s safety. He was born to be the clan leader, if XY had to choose between him and Gege, XY said so that she will choose family. Needless to say TSJ’s strategizing on how to handle his predicament would always have XY’s best interest. If he gives up his position( which he couldn’t per se because of grandma and all other leaders) how would he be suitable to be Haoling’s Great Princess” lover? Esp it wont be that simple for XY to give up now that she has decided to support Gege.
If it were the younger me, Id swoon over XL, but im soo done with the tsundere trope. What XY wants is a stable, secure, and pure lover and affection.
Im sorry I was pertaining to when Fox knew FL was a woman. Although I remember Snake knew it when he encountered her the first time and whipped her. Fox came to rescue FL and Snake allowed him. Then thought “ a deity and a woman” or somewhere along those lines. And he was curious why Fox and FL are hiding their real identity.

I havent read the novel and taking this from my own opinion. I think he knows that Snake Lead has been sucking her blood and maybe with a hint of jealousy from the physical interaction. Not sure if he knows already that FL's blood is special. Afterall, her blood was the one who save Fox when all hope was lost.
