I agree. at epi 14 now and I'm loving the two main characters. I love that Gong Shim told Dan Tae that she didn't care what he told her she was still going to "like" him and she's kept true to her word, I loved that he told the Grandmother that he loved her. I don't know why this wasn't enjoyable for others, but I love it.

only on epi 20 and I was thinking I needed to jump well ahead to see if anything happened to this pyscho. I'm a spoiler kinda gal, so Thanks for this.

Just finished reading the review from Daniella A and it's right on spot. I just want to point out that if you look at so many of the cdramas the bad guy gets let off the hook 99% of the time. Rarely does the person they've offended do more than give them a pat on the head and say, don't do it again. Normally they don't even cut them out of their lives. I do wholeheartedly agree that Elisa is pyscho and her mother just enables her, the brother is just as bad, I guess it runs in the family. Just have to say, after seeing epi 23 and 24...please stop letting "victor" sing, it's horrendous. EDIT: Finished it. Can someone PLEASE explain the whole dance thing at the end, that was so far out of left field it left me in total confusion.

this is the 2nd time watching, the first time was close to a year ago and I guess I've forgotten so much of it. I love Zhang Han, he's one of my favorites, but I have to say in this one, he's sort of a dirt bag. I get that he has some emotional pain from their break up, but he plays her along like a yoyo. He tells his friend that the problems between them have nothing to do with the actress, maybe not in their young years, but certainly in present time and he lets the actress get away with it while continue to string the FL along. The sister, I know there is something off about her, I've forgotten what it is, but she is the most irritating character, she would climb on her sisters back and follow her everywhere if she could, she treats her like a 2 year old, while keeping secrets that would help the FL. I want to yell at the FL, tell that actress if she's so sure of her love she wouldn't constantly be drawing the FL into this stuff.

hotter kissing scene than expected.

this is my 2nd time watching, fortunately this was one of the very first cdramas I watched, so this is basically new to me. I'm a huge fan of Zhang Han so watching anything with him, even if it's a 2nd or even 3rd time is not a hardship. I love that he isn't afraid (after the initial telling) to let her know that he loves her. Some people say that the FL should be with the 2ML because they have more in common....I have to disagree. He starts out going after her as revenge against the Ming Xuan, sorry, to me that is a red flag. The 2FL is a bunny boiler. Going to his mother to whine about how she needs to help get him away from Fai Fai is to much. Does the woman expect to have a happy marriage if he is forced to marry her. And the mother...your son is an adult, he doesn't need your help when it comes to love and he sure doesn't need your interference. In epi 21 he talks to her about another relationship she forced him into, how badly it turned out and she admitted it was bad, but still she doesn't shut up and learn from her mistake. If this is what really happens in the east, it never surprises me why so many of the films show the men having affairs.

oh geez, 246 epi!!! I've seen clips and want to watch, but 246 epi!! From the posts on here it sounds worth it, but 246 epi!! LOL.

This is the 2nd time I've watched it, the first time when I started watching Asian. I had forgotten just how annoying the FL is. Dumb, childish, annoying...I can't believe this is what the writers write for so many of the FL's if shows. Someone said she gets better as the series progresses, she's going to have to get a lot better. EDIT: I'm at epi 26 and as for the FL getting better, I'm wondering when that is supposed to happen. Also have a question, do females in the east not ever get concerned for their partners business troubles. This selfish, childish annoying character knows he's having business trouble but still it's all about her, her feelings, her cartoons, her her her. I just want to reach through and smack her one.

I am at epi 28 and even after reading so many of these posts, I'm glad it didn't deter me from watching. I agree, the FL is childish, but come on, I'm a relative newbie at these and I've already realized that the writers of these seem to have an aversion to woman acting their age, especially in these rom-com's. I've really enjoyed it. His mother just cracks me up especially during the hospital scene when she blamed it all on him. It's a pleasure to see the ML's mother who isn't a total shrew, his mother loves her and is a joy to watch. Bao Rui is hysterical, he's so totally clueless that he just makes me laugh. The sister's, other than both being lawyer's are as different as night and day. I love the cast.

I'm a huge Jerry Yan fan, so everyone complaining about the age gap means nothing to me. If you've watched, when the FL had the birthday party for him, the candles said he was 28 which would have only been a 4 to 6 year age gap, unless there was something else in the show that said he was older. this is my 2nd time watching and it's just as enjoyable the 2nd time. I do have to say the mother of Lu Yan Zhi looks like Mortecia Adams and talk about a drama queen and nasty to boot.

in this drama he turns 28, at least that's the candles they had on his birthday cake, so in this drama, he only about 6 years older than her.

going back to watch this a second time and I'm reminded why I liked it the first time. I like the chemistry between the leads. I just have one question. Why in the hell does the FL always always always have the best friend is more than a little annoying. These are short epi, I think just over a half hour and I'm ff thru all her parts. And the child, who I'm assuming we're supposed to fall in love with is a whiny brat and I guess we're supposed to think that's funny. Most of the children in these dramas are funny, cute and entertaining, this one I just want to put in her bedroom and walk away. (please before I get slammed for speaking about a child, this is the way the writers wrote her, nothing against the child herself). Honestly, now that I'm a few epi in, between the annoying best friend, the whiney bratty child and the parents who would be happy to push her off on any man, the only ones I want to watch are his crew of guys.

I just saw an ad for this last week so hopefully it'll be out soon.

I'm watching this for the 2nd time because I really like the ML and I thought this was very good the first time...I guess I forgot all the friggin baby talk by the FL and her friend. I swear every time the friend opens her mouth, I want to stick a sock in it. I know this is an attractive thing in the east but geez, it grates on my nerves. The brother of the FL really pisses me off too...why as an adult woman should she be ordered by her brother as to what job she can do and where she can do it. Stay in the US and shut up, let the adult woman do the job she wants to do, where she wants to do it.

watching it for the 2nd time because it's one of the first I ever watched and want to see if I will enjoy it the 2nd time. What really gets me is this FL is supposed to be a designer/fashion buyer and she wears the worst clothing. In the 2nd epi she goes to meet supposedly one of the top designers in the world and Yu Si Chen who runs...fashion house, malls, I don't know and she dresses like a bag lady. Why do the writers think that this is the way someone in fashion would dress, it's not even inventive, like the designer in Fox's Summer, it's a pair of old denim overalls cut up to make a jumper.

this one I have to disagree about ZLS, but then I've only gotten to epi 10 when I just have to give up for now. In those 10 epi she is clingy, naive on the verge of stupid and has done nothing but be that child with no fire. Now she is one of my very fav's but to me in this one at least in the first 10 epi her character is just not the Lusi we normally see. I'm not a fan of Dilraba's I think more often then not she is one dimensional but that might just be the writing, but in this one it was like we're watching any of her dramas, same expression, same stubborness, same bullheadedness, same ol' same ol'.
