I'm only on Epi 3 and I agree. The brother-in-law is so funny, tries to be helpful, tries to understand and other than the cdrama Go Ahead and it's kdrama counterpart, I can't think of many families as supportive without all the smacking around.

alcoholism must run rampant in Korea. I'm only on epi 5 after trying it the 2nd time and although I think the young boyfriend is adorable and they would be great together, I'm having to ff through all the drunk scenes which seem to be so much of the show. I don't know if I can make it through. And already that mother makes me want to get violent.

I'm not sure what epi they start dating, it wasn't to far into the show, but there is sort of a break up only because he thought she was the girl involved when he had his accident, when he finds out it wasn't her, he takes off for a while because he felt guilty for mistreating her at work. No, there is no annoying love triangle, just like I said, the sad sack guy that she knew in college who wouldn't step forward and tell her that he liked her, so she finally stepped away and found the ML.

have a question and I may be way off base, but were the Grand Prince and the king's mother an item at some point? She seems to be incredibly jealous of the FL.

thank you. there are so many Sad Sacks in these show, those that don't step up until the FL has finally found someone she could fall in love with, then we get to watch the sad face for the rest of the show.

just finished watching for the 2nd time and still loved it, but this time I was so done with the sad sack Zhuang Xu. I had to ff through his parts. She was never really his to begin with, he made sure of that.

You know, I don't know why I did since I absolutely love him. I think I'll finish Mad Dog and head back there and watch. Mad Dog is one of those that you really don't know who the bad guy is until very late in the show, I'm on epi 15 and honestly I'm not really sure who all is involved in this. LOL

I completely agree. I could watch Healer weekly. I haven't watched Vincenzo yet, I started it and dropped it for some reason. I'll have to start it over again

thank you, I was trying to think of the US show this reminded me of, and you hit it with that. It's crazy trying to explain to anyone who doesn't watch kdramas what the equivalent would be to a US show.

I only started watching this because the ML was in Healer. I'm relatively new at kdramas, so know very few names, but when I saw that he was the lead I figured I'd give it a chance and it's really good. Only on epi 6 at this point but will surely stay for the whole series.

Just started watching, I'm on epi 2 and I think I already love the ML. Maybe further into it I will think he's a little stalkerish like some of the other comments, but right now, I like him. He fell in love fast and he's so protective. The height difference between the two is funny, I keep expecting him to lift her up to eye level and when he walks into her apartment for the first time, he takes over the whole room. I'm watching it on Prime in the US and the translation seems fine to me.

I only started watching kdramas about a year ago so I'm playing catch up and checking out the older shows which I do find almost better than the newer things.

This show to me is like a car wreck, can't look away. I think I've watched it 4 times so far and as frustrating and angry as it makes me, I love the relationship between the two leads and the 3 kids. The rest of the cast, mostly I just want to go in there swinging. The step mom, I have to FF through her scenes, she send my BP skyrocketing and then come the bio mom who could have been a really great character, but they bring her back to take over Dan Dan's life, without even asking her what she wanted to do with her life, or caring when Dan Dan does tell her.

I'm watching it again for like the 4th time and I agree. Dan Dan's father is such a weak man, the mothers bio and step are horrendous, the step mother is a greedy witch and the bio mom who was never in Dan Dan's life expects to come in and take control. I agree about Lawyer Ko and the lady sec. I loved them both.

just getting to the part where the biological mother comes back into the little boys life. I find it so odd that this kid listened to the mother and the creepy uncle tell him that they are his family and other than screaming for his daddy right then, there is no issues for the kid. I don't think I know a single 6 yr old that wouldn't be freaked out and wondering what the hell was going on, then he mentions he might have to go away like he's telling them he's going to go play at billy's house.
