I'm with you. I understand that the life he was raised in probably led to a lot of this, how many times had his father told him that they should have just gotten rid of the child when he was born, how many times did dad tell ML he was disappointed in him. I would be questioning any overtures of love after being lied to like she did. We see why she did it and she never wanted to profit from those lies (at least IMO), I think she fell in love early on. For me, I'm hoping they come back together strong. I know that's not the opinion of many others, I just think I'm a romantic and want to see them together.

these crazies in these shows threaten suicide all the time, this is the first time I've seen the male lead say "have at it", that was pretty entertaining. No suicide is not funny. Watching these cdrama ladies do it you know she's two impressed with herself to ever really take that step and this one was the best.

I think by sending him off to the netherland, LOL, that is going to sort of kick him in the rear and make him see life in a whole other way. I think (hope) that it will open his eyes to the love he had before him and he will start to grovel and try to get her back, after all his family now loves her and would be accepting of their reunion.

That sure happened when his dad voted against him coming on to the board and then sending him to some out of the way place to try to bring that back to life, which I sort of felt Dad was hoping wouldn't happen and it would show Jr. he wasn't all that.

I love the idea of redemption and love. Both of them lied, to me she was eaten up with guilt while he just saw his lie as a power play. I'm only on epi 13, so I haven't really seen all the "good stuff" yet (divorce, separation, etc), so I'm really hoping that they find their way back together.

I just think she's so amazing, she goes from the child who is taken from her grandmother to live with parents who could care less to a grown woman who will make a place in the world for herself. She played her from teen to grown woman.

I watched this epi this am and was so shocked by that. He didn't exactly kill it himself but yes, he put the word out and the other guy got arrested which would have happened, but wow.

how many times up to epi 13 did she try to confess to him, almost every epi and he sidestepped and told her basically not to. That was definitely unkind of him, especially since he knew the whole truth to begin with. Gaslighting like crazy.

I'm only on epi 8 so haven't gotten to the divorce stuff or him being so nasty with her as I've read in here, but I just can't deal with Willian Chan being a bad guy and I want a happy ending with the two of them together.
