I find the mother and the FL's best friend two of the most obnoxious character's I've seen in cdramas. I guess I certainly don't understand the culture that the parent, especially the mom gets to tell you who you can love and who you can't, seems like they stick their children with people they barely like and then expect a happy and successful marriage. I've watched this before all 45 epi and I guess I came back for Johnny Huang, but now I know what to FF through.

Not only does Luna boss her around, but that BFF of hers, probably one of the most obnoxious BFF's I've seen in CDrama. I've watched this before and know what to Fast Forward thru, her BFF and also her mother. I'm wondering if all husbands in the east are as spineless as her father.

I agree, when others who knew her before talk about what a great and smart student/lawyer she was and then we see the outcome after her jail time, it's like they did a lobotomy in prison. Yes, she can stand up to the men in cases, but most of it is just dumb. Searching for the bottle of the hardest liquor I can find in my cabinet, maybe that will numb my brain enough to watch all of it, but I really doubt that. The most disappointing part of this is that I'm a huge Zhang Han fan and watch everything I can find of his and this just doesn't cut it.

the sister makes me crazy, talk about a helicopter mom, I would have moved out so fast to get out from under her thumb when she was the cause of a lot of the issues. was wondering though if Zhang Han gets to chose his fellow cast members

I'm on epi 19 and geez louise are these women clueless. Du Wan, the business partner assumes because they are business partners and have been working together from the beginning he should love her automatically, even though she has seen him flipping over Shuang, you'd have to be completely blind not to see that that was where his interest lies. The little sister Qi Tian, I can sort of understand, she's been so over-protected her whole life it's like she's a perpetual 10 year old and again, would have to be blind to not see where Kun Lan's interest lies. I'm determined to finish this, but it's sure been a struggle. Someone posted you needed to stop watching after the shaving scene and I agree. What is really confusing is that her father was determined to drag her away again and then all of a sudden he disappears, did I ff through that scene?

glad for him if that's what makes him happy. I sure would have loved to see him in more.

watched it in a day and spend the majority of the later part of the show in tears. Breaking my heart for sure.

have only been watching kdramas for about a year and I've found that the old ones really seem to much better. Sure there are newer ones I love, but this old one really draw me in.

first time watching checked to see what else he was in and was so disappointed to see that there is on 1 other show listed in MDL. Loved him in this one. It's so sad.

watching it for the 2nd time and maybe I didn't pay to much attention the first time, but I swear the costumer for the FL must have gotten her clothing at Omar's Tent and Awning Shoppe. They could fit 3 more women in the clothes she wears which makes her appear even younger that the 19-20 she is supposed to be. It's a sweet show, I think like others, the screenwriters did a good job.

if they're going to bill someone else, I need those notes too.

Thank you, I checked out your review right now and had I not watched the show 3 times already, I would have been so curious to find out the things you hinted at but didn't give away. Each character you mentioned is so developed in your review, the only one I have a disagreement about is the female BFF. That girl was as calculating as they come in my opinion. The 2nd and 3rd time I watched I cheered when she was dumped, she deserved it more than anyone. To be able to write like you do is amazing. Thank you and I hope anyone who reads your review is anxious to see the show, they should be.

are you telling me (only on 7) that he leaves the evil grandmother? Please tell me that is what you're saying.

I'm convinced from these k-dramas that the parents/grandparents would eat their offspring if it was legal. Gramma is such a witch, everything she says makes me want to reach through and smack her since he wont. Half way through and am wondering if she ever becomes less evil.

I haven't been watching kdramas for very long and find the older ones so enjoyable.

I'm 9 epi in and I think they are going to get away with it, that's just my opinion but it just doesn't look likely that they will get whats coming to them

I read your comment earlier and didn't give it much thought until after watching a few more epi. I'm an older woman (72) and you're right, I wouldn't have put up with that kind of treatment, I was married 41 years and let me tell you, had my husband spoken to me like that he would have been on his knees more than once and you know why and how, but I can still find this funny and still be charmed by Rain's acting and his facial features, at times so innocent when she calls him out on something he's said and he just doesn't understand and when he starts to feel the jealousy, to me it's just funny, and still love Song Hye Kyo for her acting and the charm she brings to the story and look forward to them falling in love and the SFL getting the karma she deserves. And the biggest surprise to me was falling in love with Gramma (she was an evil old thing in the first couple epi.)

read these reviews earlier today and read yours about the washer/dryer and when the scene popped up I just had to laugh, yep, big star doing the laundry by hand because he didn't buy a washer dryer. I agree with every word about the so called friends, not something I understand at all, their tiny hinneys would be in jail if it was me.
