Oy, this is bad...no, not the drama, the fact that this excellent lakorn has now spoiled me for all other lakorns😟. I can't get over these two and of course Mata's entire family. What an awesome drama! I don't actually think that I've ever seen a healthier and more adorable relationship in any Thai drama I've ever watched, and I've watched A LOT. Now I have no idea what else to delve into, because this one has raised the bar for what should be standard in lakorns. I mean what a refreshing change from the usual screaming banshees, The Cage Queens' screams were hilarious, not annoying😂, and even the "bad" guys in this one were not your usual pure evil, how-on-earth-are-they-not-in-jail🤔😲?? kind. I mean every action and consequence or lack thereof made perfect sense in this one, and may I just say that I love, love the lead pair. I fell in love with the ML, not for his face, which IS pretty😄, but for his portrayal of the character. I wanted to give Purim a hug throughout more than half the drama, but what I loved about him is that he had a backbone! In fact, I would attribute this to the wonderful, clumsy, wacky, but oh so mature, always beaming, kind, empathetic Mata. What a breath of fresh air of a FL! Now THIS is how opposites truly attract. I still come back to this drama for comfort, and just to see all their antics. Loved it!! 10/10

Please don't fight me, I'm just playing Devil's advocate, and also genuinely curious to know your take. This is just my view, and I respect yours as well, but how and when exactly did the ML cheat? What I saw is that he fell in love with someone else, while in a loveless relationship driven by his father and a disingenuous woman who didn't seem to care if he was into her or not, as long as he was the trophy on her arm. She even said so in ep 10 that in the 2 years they'd been together, he never told her he loved her. He even broke up with her twice, and the first time had nothing to do with the FL. Sure he could've been more firm in breaking up with her, but how does his falling in love with someone who clearly makes him happy constitute as cheating? Was he supposed to stay with someone he never loved because she stuck by him for two years? She should've read the room the first time he broke it off and gave her no reason for breaking up with her, then collected her pride and walked away. But NO, because she chased him for oh so long, he therefore HAD to stay with her regardless of how he felt? Well that's rather selfish, and dumb, and in my opinion not love at all. There were so many instances where you could clearly see that she made him uncomfortable with her pushy attitude, and she was cheating on him even before he developed genuine feelings for the FL. Hell, she was with the man she was cheating with the night before he finally decided to end things with her for good, yet she had the nerve to cry? Why? Plus they were broken up already when the main leads got together, except Miss uppity wanted him to hide the breakup to save face, and THEN have him act like they're still together. What?? Then she had the audacity to act all affronted AFTER the breakup when he ignored her and paid attention to the woman he truly loved. I'm sorry, but he owed her nothing. No time to comes to terms with him breaking it off, absolutely nothing. And this is just me, but I don't care how in love I am with someone. If he's swayed by someone he has genuine feelings for, then I'd gracefully step aside and let him be happy with her. And yes, I've done that before. My pride would never allow me to stoop to the levels she did for a man that has zero feelings for me, loyalty be darned. Lol

One of my favorite Kdramas this year. Unpopular opinion: The ML did NOT cheat on that horrible woman, nor did he cheat on her "emotionally" whatever the heck that means. He also did nothing wrong when he fell for and then went after the FL. Kudos to him for getting himself out of a loveless relationship. As for the FL...I loved her! Yeah, she didn't want to get all tangled up in his "mess" but did absolutely nothing wrong by talking to the guy even if he had a thing for her and she knew that he was in a relationship. What was she supposed to do? Duck and hide every time she saw him at work? Ignore him and act like she didn't know him, just like a child? She crossed not one boundary, and when he kissed her while still with the nasty bully, she walked away and made it clear she wouldn't do that. Also 1) He broke up with that miserable cow BEFORE he drank the love potion and the reason was because he was sick. Now maybe it's just me, but breaking up with your gf that you supposedly love because you're sick, and have known you are sick even before you started dating just does not scream "I'm in love with this person" to me. Plus, his father seemed to like her more than he did. I don't know, for me, this relationship screamed "arranged" and "because daddy the douche said so" The man was never in love with her. SHE chased him incessantly, and I get why he went out with her. However, what they had was never love. 2) He may have developed feelings for the FL during the course of the whole "I'm under your love spell" debacle, but afterwards he clearly stated that he'd never felt like that for anyone, including the so called goddess. And having feelings for someone else while you're in a not so loving relationship happens in real life, it is the nature of humans who are not a perfect species!! He wasn't in love with Bitch Mcbitchiness from the beginning, and found someone whom he could genuinely be his old silly self with, hence he waivered. Again, normal human behavior. I don't get the whole, "You are with her/him, therefore you owe them your loyalty even though you no longer have feelings for them" nonsense (yes, I personally think it's nonsense and so contrived). When one party no longer has feelings in a relationship, the other party also needs to accept it and move on. It's selfish to want to keep someone because YOU are in love/infatuated with them, even though you can CLEARLY see that your love is no longer/was never reciprocated. Let the man/woman go, and go cry in a corner somewhere until your pride isn't so butt hurt that you think another person owes you loyalty because YOU loved them for two years. Life's tough, wear a helmet *shrug*. 3) She was cheating on him WAY before the FL came into the picture, that too with someone she knew her bf didn't get along with, I'd even say that they were enemies, yet she slept with him because the ML did not fill her emptiness...what the actual f***?? Then why the hell did she chase after him? And why in the world did she not collect the pieces of her pride and move along when he broke up with her the first time? She clearly wanted to have her cake and eat it too, yet everyone is pointing out how wrong the ML and FL were for having feelings for each other. I smell double standards. What good for the goose is good for the gander I believe. End of rant, lol. I loved this so much I've already rewatched it twice, because the messiness of it all is so true to life. And even though I love the fantasy (totally unrealistic, but oh so swoon worthy) drama leads we usually get, this was one of my favorite lead pairs. The fact that they were not perfect and messy was exactly what I loved most about them. They were totally relatable. They were that girl/guy friend who comes to you for advise or to vent about their chaotic love lives. It was deliciously convoluted. I give it a 10/10.

I loved this so much I've already rewatched it twice, because the messiness of it all is so true to life. And even though I love the fantasy (totally unrealistic, but oh so swoon worthy) drama leads we usually get, this was one of my favorite lead pairs.
