Reason why HS and BS aren't "together?" - i think they might expand the adaptations with the other webtoons, timing and bridge. In Bridge, Heesoo and Bongseok are of the main characters there. Haven't read it yet but maybe they will continue their story there. Timing (with Youngtak- the student who can stop time as the main character) needs to go first because in Bridge, both the timing and moving characters would be involved. Moving seems to be a success so I hope they continue with these two as well! I just don't know with disney how long that would take though.
I was sooo looking forward to KDS and family renion but it was so short! Though I still prefer this bec they didn't show any in the webtoon. I just wanted to see more of them tho!
It's been one hell of a ride. Moving will be up there as one of the best KDramas to date.
You're right, Mihyun is 48. Ikr it's hard to believe cause the actress is 36 in real life and looks nothing close to 48 despite the make-up haha. While Bongseok was born in 1999 which makes him 19 in 2018 (present time).
The episodes are so badass but why are they so short :( I also would love to hear more from Bongseok and Mihyun's conversation. Kim Doosik come back already!! I hope writernim won't keep him in the basement until the end 😢
Moving has not yet finished airing all the episodes but they already got 6 nominations in Asia Content Awards and Global OTT awards! 1. Best Creative - Moving 2. Best Writer - Kang Full 3. Best Lead Actor - Ryu Seungryong 4. Best Newcomer Actor - Lee Jungha 5. Best Newcomer Actress - Go Younjung 6. Best Visual Effect - Moving
After watching the 13th episode, I decided to read the webtoon. Actually the storyline of the drama isn't that…
The writer said in a recent interview that the ending will be different from the webtoon, a proper closure maybe? I don't think they intend to do a multi-season.
I have to disagree with every single thing you pointed out here. They are not flashbacks, they're just going without…
omg, who hurt you? if you did not like a drama, you are free to drop it. we all have our own personal preferences of what we like and dislike. you don't need to go out telling people what media to consume. let people enjoy things.
Eps. 12-13 are just wonderfully made. Everything just made sense! It feels like i'm in an emotional rollercoaster ride while watching it. I feel like we're getting near going back to the present time. The episodes are getting better and better!
Ep 11 was insane. It was like watching a movie. Juwon's backstory is really sad. All the abuse and betrayals.…
Agree! I mean I think there is no "focus" of the story between the teens and the parents. It looks like the parents would get as much screentime as the teens. Also the parents are all A-List actors who are literally emphasized in the posters and trailers so they would obviously have their own moments as well. I also somehow miss bongseok and heesoo but they already shined in the first seven eps and I know they will definitely come back 😅 This drama is just taking its time to narrate each characters' story to make us understand them better and emphasize the main theme which is humanism despite living with powers.
The backstories are like half of the original webtoon's story and I believe its context is essential before the…
Yea disney made a weird choice with the 7 ep drop then 2 weekly. Bec if this was a netflix original, it'll drop all at once (which I prefer nowadays) lol. But anyway, as someone who read the webtoon, i just realized that there's nothing much left for the teens to be honest. After that scene with mihyun and bongseok, it's all flashbacks, then the battle part. It will just be confusing if they did that all together IMO.
If we seriously get 7 episodes about adults now, I'm afraid that it's not gonna maintain its momentum. Even if…
The backstories are like half of the original webtoon's story and I believe its context is essential before the last part is shown where the kids and adults unite for a great battle. I somehow agree that it would be better if they integrate it to the present but I guess they are following the pacing of the webtoon. Right now, the adults' stories still looks promising and exciting in my opinion so we'll just have to wait and see.
So part 1 is until episode 7. So we're cut off from the kids backstories and now we're on to the parents' backstories…
They said it'll be like three parts. 1st was kids, then their parents, last is them together in the present time. Around ep 15-17 I think the story will go back to the present and will end there. I know it won't end with backstories cause I saw some spoilers from the manhwa lol.
Agree. Aside from the bad subs, another weird thing in this drama is the age of the casts 😅 While Hyo-Joo can…
She was 24 in 1994 😅 so she should be 48 in the 2018 timeline as commented above. Yes, I agree that she acts well as a mid aged woman but she really has that youthful look that won't fool the audience haha. Cha Tae-Hyun's character is just a supporting role and I think will not be in the flashbacks but he was relevant with the Frank plot in eps 1-7. Let's see if he will be appearing again in the later episodes.
It was nice to see Jo In-sung on a small screen again. The last time I saw him in a drama was the excellent It's…
Agree. Aside from the bad subs, another weird thing in this drama is the age of the casts 😅 While Hyo-Joo can pass as a 24-year old, her character in the 2018 timeline does not look like someone nearing 50 even with the make-up. Cha Tae-Hyun also in ep 6 looks forced as a high school student. Well maybe that's the drawback of casting only one actor for a character with different timelines. Wouldn't blame them though cause they still delivered.
I was sooo looking forward to KDS and family renion but it was so short! Though I still prefer this bec they didn't show any in the webtoon. I just wanted to see more of them tho!
