This is just my opinion, i don't mean any hate or anything I loved everything about this drama. The writer has experimented with new type of plots and directing methods. As a viewer , the direction and the story telling could be improved. even through he was experimenting new methods . There were few times where i felt lost about what is going on in the drama due to its unique way of story telling. Xianxia stories are an entirely new world for the audience, leaving the audience hanging for too long might make them lose interest. . When i think about it , i realize the plot is great but the writer wasn't able to shift the audience focus completely at the plot. In conclusion, The storytelling could be improved. Other than that , Everything else was perfect, thee actors acted so well in the drama, the makeup, costume and Cinematography was great. The writer and director experimented with new plots and scenes and i am impressed by it, The best thing in it was the fight scenes. They were so COOL!!!
Journey to you was supposed to have a s2 but it was cancelled because of some issues between the actors and the director. For this drama I think it is better for director and screenwriter to have a discussion with the actors if they want to do a s2 or not before ending s1 with an open ending. Besides this is just my guess based on the director's previous work "journey to you". There was no confirmation officially.
No , it is just a guess. This drama might be similar to journey to you because the director is the same. So for the audience to know characters personalities and their relationships with other, the fights and story unfolding will take a lot of episodes . 24 ep is kinda less, this is just a guess .
