Is this drama rage baiting me? I'm too curious to drop the show and yet i want to punch every character through the screen. I have no empathy for a single character. I lost count of how many crimes they have done till now. I'm just waiting for the ending to see how the writer is going to give justice.

I think there's nothing supernatural. Yoon Seo probably has lost her certain memories, possibly related to the mysterious girl's death. Remember she tells Jung Won that she feels like she's been there before cause she's actually been there before. I think few students, if not all are directly or indirectly related to the unknown girl's death. So, they are forced to play this game against each other. Yoon Seo seeing things might be her past. The ghost may exist too but I don't think she's the mastermind. My guess it's is a human doing. Probably, someone who wants to get the ghost's revenge.

Pardon me but your 1st paragraph is giving me headache. You mean to say there's always one (among many) same mafia in each game or there's just one mafia in the entire game? The latter doesn't make sense since a mafia alreay killed another mafia in 2nd episode and in 4th episode, when a mafia (I believe) died after breaking the rules by not voting, the voting still continued suggesting another mafia. I love rest of your theories.

Just give it a try and if it's not your taste, drop it. I often do that. I loved SWDBS because of the main leads. I was already a Park Bo Young's fan but Park Hyung Sik took my heart in that drama. I am also not fond of watching superhero genre but their chemistry was everything. Actually, I'm starting to grow out of fantasy dramas which I used to enjoy during my teens. So, I'll give this one a try but I'm not sure if I'll like it. Looks like this drama is the Chinese version of an old k-drama Full House (2004) The plot and characters are outdated now. I watched the k-drama in like 2010 and actually back then I enjoyed it's first half but the second half was boring for me. Now, these types of characters are so annoying, it's unbearable to me.
