Actually yes,I felt too it was out of place 🫣 just like how you mentioned above ! Like few things didn't make sense to me ! Also they didn't resolve the misunderstanding between them about wang shou kissing chi and the chengyu bday party scene also the confrontation of wei and chi for the revenge purpose !

But few things felt a bit out of place like Chi and wei didn't talk out about the misunderstanding that previously happend on chengyu's bday and wei using chi for revenge and also the kiss between chi and wang shou too ! Through out the bts,poster shooting and interviews I watched,I don't know,but I felt they were a bit attracted towards each other 🤩 Some one here in the comment section said it too !
