I finally had the courage to complete the kdrama My Dearest and let me just say how impactful every second of that show was. I have never watched anything so beautiful but yet so intense. It captures so many real life moments of community, love, tragedy and sadness. I hope everyone gets to experience the wonderful feelings of My Dearest.

At first I thought this show would be a decent watch but WOW to say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. This show resonated with me so much because I saw myself through the actions of the Fl. Not only that, but the life she created for herself in the end is one I have always strived for and could only dream of. I was just so so so happy for them that my emotions just took over. I also want to say that I learned so much about myself from this show. I finally found my type. I hope my person shares the same characteristics as the ML, and treasures me the way he does her. To the one who gifted me this, thank you.

After catching up with the episodes, I realized that I couldn't cry during the moments I wanted to. I was on edge the whole time and literally became numb to my own emotions. This drama has really done something to me that I've never experienced before. The angst oozing from the plot plus the breathtaking writing, I'm in awe. This just might be my favorite drama. This drama is reminiscent to the feeling I had while watching my favourite historical romance movie, Pride and prejudice.
