My first ever kdrama which I was able to complete cause it kept me hooked. The actor playing the doc - Kim Jae Won impressed me. His facial features are unique and I liked his acting skills. Oh, he's handsome 👓👏. The evil husband really gave me the creeps 😬. There were some plotholes but overall a nice show to binge. For me it's a 7.5/10 👍.
I can't continue with the drama for several reasons although I really enjoyed the webtoon. The drama feels underwhelming and draggy. Maybe because I kept comparing it with the webtoon and feel like they could have done some things differently here and there.
I watched this cause I really liked the webtoon it's based off. The webtoon is so good but the live action is mediocre. Mainly, the acting is stiff and the romantic scenes are awkward. 😕
Cute, light and easy watch. Leads are charming. Some flaws and cringe here and there. But it can be ignored if one's willing to watch. The premise is good but the execution is pretty average.
Interesting show. I don't understand how the gangster world operates in the series. They need to explain it a bit more, I feel. I'd like to know more about how Jheruei, Chen Yi and Ai Di became part of the Mafia gang. The story is very vague about this bit. Plus, they never show how Ai Di and Chen Yi met and how Ai Di fell for the latter. They just talk about it briefly and that's it. I'd like to get a full back story about it. Also, why is Chen Yi so reluctant to accept Ai Di's feelings when his other love interest is not interested in him? And now that Ai Di doesn't want to be around him, he's chasing him. Why is he behaving like that? I need more on their story please.
This one got mixed reviews. It really depends on one's personal preferences and taste. Some value charisma and acting over story, others value story over those things. At the end of the day, it would be better if they managed to balance the two. Still, it's not bad just needed more polish here and there. As for myself, I'd like to pass on this one for now. There are a lot of BLs out there some good, some bad and some brilliant ones. So, I say if you want to watch, go ahead. See for yourself if you like it or not, instead of only judging from the rating.
A bit weird but interesting plot judging from ep 1. Well, first episode was mostly a tease and I think the story will develop gradually. I'll be sticking around this one to see if it delivers more 👀.
