I was also close to dropping it during the 1st part but kept watching and surprisingly it got so good I thanked the drama gods I did not drop😅
The second part starts at episode 11 I think when main leads meet each other and lasts till episode 26.

I tried watching it back when it was airing in the summer. Wasn't working for me mainly because I couldn't stand Esther

This drama is so good. I can see why no other drama has topped it so far. The only thing I didn't like was niece Bai Fengjiu and lord Dong hua's story. Found myself skipping them a lot.
Besides that and cgi, everything else was done very well. I loved the main couple Ye Hua & Bai Qian and their son A-Li is such cute riceball.
