Poor translators who had to translate ancient poetry, tong twisters and multiple puns 😁
haha yeah i thought it would be hard but i think they'd have a fair stock of translations for those poems.
not sure if you've seen e16 but Chit & Chat are the two writers. it's funny by itself because of who those writers are.
but now I watched it second time and listened how these names are pronounced: Chi-Chi & Cha-Cha. now I'm thinking please please get screenwriter with the name Chu-Chu 😆(i believe name Chu-Chu means "pretty girl", based on subs in imperial coroner_
dude still get 5k yuan per mth, plus the company pay for transportation n food.dude was jobless before n seriously…
quickly checked salaries for game devs in Shenzhen area, 5K is just above entrance rate. but i see some salaries which are around 58.33K and up to 83K (per month) not sure of the specifics. anyway his 5K is forever no salary increases etc., and 5K itself is not far from the minimum wage so he's kinda of earning salary that a bus driver would get. so he is already lying to his parents about his financial situation what if decides to get married. how is he going to explain to his wife where's "the rest" of the money?
e14 was pretty much about him trying to get a different job. and the reality was that he doesn't have the necessary skills outside of his current arrangement. eventually he'd grow and yeah there are some long term prospects to quit again and pick up something else. but i dont any company giving him 1M to join their company at senior level. first question would be wth did you do in Teng Da for you to be kicked out.
I know No Pain No Gain is a comedic drama but I can’t help feeling sad for Pei Qian. He’s the perfect example…
it's not that absurd when i think about it. Sima has enough cash and he is willing to lose what's invested. ML's spending is kept in check by Ms Xin and the loss is predictable more or less. By arranging it this way Sima pushes him to select projects which bring benefit to society but no one would pick. So in a way he removed the fear of losing everything by making it the objective. anyway it kind of makes sense to me alright.
I don't think it's Pei's. You can see that the children rode the same car as Huang Si Bo and the woman in white,…
I would've seen ML as eunuch in Go Princess Go but I have no recollection of him at all. most others even those in small roles I would've seen a few times as super-support characters in costume dramas. probably because i saw quite a few dramas produced by that production team and obviously they would be bringing their crew. i think they do great stuff, but again that screenwriter-duo ... NPNG even starts with a retrospective narrative just like YYY (not to mention poster style). but pace, plot, character dev ... everything is so much better here. so hopefully the ending will be as well 🤞

i got a few people who give me heads up to check something out. also, i got a few accounts so i just check the latest. it works 😆
i'm lucky enough to start during "dotcom boom" so many tengda stories don't feel too far fetched and some oddly familiar 🤣. of course so do a few from sky fire.
i picked up this show coz i saw the guard from MHH playing "the lonely road" can't remember if it was a teaser, trailer or i clicked on the end of e1. and that was it. i found out that Lin Wan is Lin Yun only when she went to her parent's house for the new year. that's when i bothered to check. but it's the first time i see her in modern drama. anyway i'm sucker for cameos and this show has plenty 🤣

yeah i'm loving the show. a lot of nostalgia and a sprinkle of ptsd 🤣i hope they dont turn it angsty.
but no the poster does not work for me at all. i only noticed it yesterday when i was bored and started looking through photos and thought "wait what"? and i guarantee if i saw that poster on wetv initially i would've missed this gem.

jezuz christ of course i do.but it's no tthe only possible explanation. if she was present there and it was all grand (even if she hooks up with Lv) that poster wouldn't cross my mind. but she wasn;t and it looks like there will be conflict. most likely due to misunderstanding. and it would spoil the show for me. there are a lot ways where he can become honorary chairman for life and no t all of them have to be positive. os, yeah i'm not going to dismiss your opinion outright,. but at the same time i'm not going to be too surprised if she is going to take the lead for a few episodes as well. anyway we'll find out soon enougj.
first poster i saw was the one on wetv and it's pretty clear what the show is about.
I don't think it's Pei's. You can see that the children rode the same car as Huang Si Bo and the woman in white,…
if you sa so. no need to explain too much,.
i CAUGHT what you meant. but to me the centre catches the eye first and i already said that from what i;ve seen i'd say she is a support character. i'm not going to descned into diatribe. anyway thanks for chiming in.gl.

lol. "???" ? no. how many profiles do you have anyway? doesn't matter.
where to place someone doesn't interest me that much. but just off the top of the head centre should be either ML or no one.so far everyone else looks like a support character to me. hence my confusion as to why is she there, how drastically the plot has to change for it to be justified.

lol, see you're getting agitated again. no need need for that. i've never asked for your opinion. you offered it. and i see no reason why anyone needs to be in the centre of that explosion. if you think that your explanation is valid - great - i'm definitely not going to try and dissuade you. i really don't find it convincing.

yeah i'll just disagree. the only distinguishing factor there, is that out of all employees she is the only one who doesn't have to work. and was willing to work for free. idealistic etc. but so far her contribution to his being poor is pretty much on the par with everyone else. we'll have to see.
an a bonus, the lad in sloth gym probably was a general in bang xing fu sheng

at least someone is thinking to ask ms xin a few questions.
he says this is what happened.
i agree with him that it happens, but doesn't have to be the case in this particular instance.
so, the answer is yes. it could be.

but i do expect a nasty disagreement & angst.
the main question of course is&was if the love interest doesn't work out, why put her in the centre of the picture :D
