of course it should be similar to Animation to be called adaptation to LA .. since it is adaptation we alrdy know sequence of plots as we watched Donghua .. yeah a bit bored since we knew story but thats how adaptation goes
not like S1 ( completely changed story )

In S1, Xuner alrdy went back to Gu clan and she and XY reunited and then went to mist clan to meet 3 year agreement with NLYR and destroyed mist clan and XY nearly died but revived at end , thats how S1 ended … so people were looking forward to continuation of this ending
- ( that doesn’t not yet in Donghua releasing up to now yet )
that S1 plot is completely different from Anime novel and donghua ( timeline is messed up in S1 )
in S2 they stick to Anime , so they went back timeline to XY met with NLYR but not yet admitted to Jianan school , meanwhile Xuner yet not taken back to Gu clan ( as in Donghua )
I recommend u guys to wach Donghua , then u will see differences between S1 LA, S2 LA and Animation

I know some people are disappointed because of disconnection from S1 ending
Im sure they modified story to be more similar to Donghua ..

- in S1 LA , he got admitted to Jianan school first then met agreement with NLYR and destroyed Mist clan and he nearly died , thats how S1 ended

-I don’t know how S1 ending like XY nearly died and revived came up in S1
-i hadn’t seen this scene and plot in Donghua releasing up to now
-honestly S1 is more un relatable ( too way different from Donghua )

( but me as a animation fan it is still worth to watch ( up to ep4 ) it’s strictly following Donghua
Yeah acting suck but its for supporting characters suck .. Xiao Yan in this drama not bad tho not as good as Wu Lei , but this Xuner better than Jelly Lin from S1

S1 is so much different from animation ( honestly I didn’t like S1 personally though only Wu Lei carried drama with his acting )

This S2 is trying to follow Donghua animation.. if u want to understand, I recommend u to watch Animation ..

Thought S2 will continue from the end of scene from S1 ending
Looks like a complete different LA similar to Donghua ( since s1 LA is so different from Animation)
