Judging an ancient drama by moral standards of today doesn't make sense in this drama everyone kills outright so why judge ML? And as toxic relationship goes it is her choice n to be with ML so how toxic can it be if she chooses to love him?

Ridiculous how can you avenge without having anger and revenge to drive you? Without this element of ambiguity how you win this was drive home by 2ML when he said to FL supremacy means to win no matter the cost

Get real how can it be toxic when ML and FL at time he tried to kill her didn't know each other so what relationship are you referring to? At that time she was nothing more than an interference resulting in possible failure to the execution of a well thought out plan! And what does this have to do with BL?

When ML tried to kill her he hadntd known her except in the context of interference from a fool of he hadn't tried to kill her it would be inconsistent with his character and FL holding a grudge in the context would be inplausible and make her character inconsistent with the character that FL represents an intelligent woman who grasps the full picture and context

Disagree from beginning the drama emphasis that ML and 2ML are on equal footing in strategic planning, fighting skills and cunning

I think she arrogant judgemental easily fooled and a know it all knows nothing character who needs experience of real life to teach her some hard truths and life lessons so far 6 episode and she's still annoying and deserves to be stuck with second ML not ML who deserves so much more than a little stupid now it all

It's useless reading your reviews which are only synopsis but your opinions are for whom? Whose paying you to drop all the series liked by many? Obviously you don't care that viewers like all the series that you don't so who are you writing for when your aim is to turn people off what they like !quit !!! Love hate relationship in context is understandable Deidreb19 believes that this type of relationship is abusive and that FL falling for ML in the end is disturbing, well to each their own, as for me I see the context of the story. The lovers in this story are from different countries at war with each other, love between people on different sides is not easy especially as they are the monarch and thus the so called abuse is within the scope of such a predicament. In fact the conflicting emotions are imo realistically portrayed as is love. At the end of the day love overcomes many obstacles and wins so this story is attractive and real.

Most comments bag Jason and praise Zhao ridicolous! You can like Zhao without bagging other good actors Jason was great ML and Zhao was second to him as ML 2 should be and his performance wasn't great or memorable it was a low budget series but was entertaining Jason Lusi and Zhao were all good but Zhao didn't stand out so stop bagging Jason who is as handsome as Zhao in fact he might be better looking.

Are we watching same show he punished her to save her he had no clue that she would die BSE of peacocks involvement and he treated her coldly because of tribulation and how it was connected to his peers he was protecting them once they were wiped out he realized there was some sort of conspiracy so he wanted her safe thats why he locked her up in palace away from the court and danger his punishment he believed would not kill her because elixir was protecting her and he also said he would explain all to her but never got chance because of peacock and dad and the devil all plotting against him her ...please pay attention!

Seriously he left his mark on ayin remember? and he felt it thus he suspects that she is queen but also ayin which is in fact the case and he loves ayin so why should he give up on girl he loves ,didn't intend to kill but save via punishment which backfire because of peacock. He wants her to know the truth of what happened, make amends and declare his love.
