I'd understand why you think that character was a jerk, but hard to agree. He didn't do anything wrong. You just probably felt he should have given the FL some special treatment. That's a large topic on it's own though. The dynamics of relationships vs business, Quite a tricky one too. But from your pov, the reason you won't find him as annoying here is the FL has less to offer here in terms of business goals. No rich ex, no rich grandma hehe
Xu kai's character is literally the same as his character in "best choice ever" lmao Same job, same personality, even the way he replies messages is the same. Dresses the same, same degree of harshness. I can't find any difference yet

Yeah. Was a nice plot. And for me; i'd say it delivered the best character development journey I've seen so far on screen. I also envied the commitment in that relationship 😁
