Charlie isn't dead, Way will go undercover and spy on Tony for Pete(and Babe), and KentaPete was once a thing--but it helps that I've already read the novel(five times) so I knew all this anyway. It was really fun to see it on screen though😛

I saved both because scenes like that are HELLA HARD to do(I've acted in two of them and written three, and what you hear about dehydration after these scenes is real--like, you are not only physically and emotionally exhausted after those scenes, you're also hella thirsty) and actors who are that invested in the story they're telling and the character they are portraying deserve awards and hugs because damn! Also, the fact that they shot the scene about six months ago and it still has that effect on him is freaking amazing.

Sooooo anybody else figure out who Jeff/Pete’s spy in Tony’s organization is(yes it’s the same person spying for both of them)?! Cause I DID—in the preview it’s a blink and you miss it kind of deal, but I know who he is and I’m so happy for reasons I won’t go into cause they’re all sorts of spoilery. And I can safely say “he” because this is an all male cast 😂

You know what? I appreciate that Way thinks of X Hunter as family. And I appreciate that he has a line that he won't cross(ie he hates Charlie but he won't "hurt the one [Babe] love[s].") And I appreciate that Way feels guilty over Charlie. I said it and I'm not taking it back😛. Also, both Pavel and Nut need more hugs, just because 🥹😭(and I LOVE that they struggled to get their fight scene shot without any injuries😂--I needed that BTS gag reel so bad this week)

There's a scene in the novel where Babe is told that Way found out who messed with Babe's car and then Charlie's and that they were on Tony's payroll, so he(Way) beat the shit out of that person. My twisted little brain is kind of hoping that person in the series is Dean and we get to see Way kick his ass(mostly because he mad about Babe's accident) because that would be kind of fun to watch :P

Tony had two Enigmas as "adopted sons"--Pete and Way. Pete escaped(and started gathering evidence against Tony as soon as he was able to), Way did not. They are eventually a couple in the novel, but I don't know how far they will get in the series(actually it's more nuanced in the book, since they were in the Early Stages of the relationship). Pete and Way have different powers(series watchers don't know Pete's powers yet), and so Way can still hypnotize Pete if he wanted to, and Pete could use his powers on Way, too.

Yes! Thank you for putting my scattered thoughts into words :) Way will always have the most intriguing storyline/character arc/ whatever you want to call it because he is the Anti-Hero. And Anti-Heroes fascinate me :P

What I liked was that Way felt guilty enough to try and justify it. It was the Oh Shit I Got Caught Let Me Scramble to Explain Myself Guilt, but it was so true to his character(even though I agree with NOTHING Way said) and after the scene I just wanted to hug Supanut and Pavel because WOW!!!!!!!!!!
