This drama is similar to Love Between Fairy and Devil, with romance between two different race. But I love the characters in this drama better, the FL starts being weak but strong-willed and not useless for once (which is rare to find), both FL and ML are trying to protect each other. The episodes have many twists and not dragging to keep me hooked, the pace is almost perfect for me. But I think it lacks of actions, the fights are too short and conclude too fast. And most importantly, I hate how A LOT OF PEOPLE DIED. Well, I know it's about sacrifices and all but seriously?? They build the characters to be lovable with strong background story and they make them dead early just like that. So I'm giving this drama minus half point for breaking my heart lol.

BUUTTT the drama is totally recommended for those who love xianxia movies with good romance like me. Music is great, casts are perfect, and enjoyable plot! Every characters have their own background story, and it's an emotional journey from start to end. The drama hooked me right from episode 1. One of the best xianxia drama everrrr ❤️
