I watched Once We Got Married before watching this, and I would say this drama has better production value and better premise. There are negative aspects of this drama, but the positive ones: non damsel in distress FL, interesting work - personal relationship between the leads (I like that they have other things to discuss when they are alone, and that ML is supportive of FL's career), the kid, and the secretary. This drama touches on issues of being a female in the society (working female, toxic boss, being discriminated against, single mother). The ML is pretty childish in the beginning, but grew mature.
And then the entire scene is dedicated to him gushing about Chu Ying. I love how it's shot, too. We never actually…
Wow, amazing insights. I went back to see the first few minutes of Ep. 1 after reading your post. I did not pay much attention the first time, and wow the feelsss. I did not expect the drama would start with lowest point of Shi Guang's life, and that temple would play an important part in his Go journey.
My only complain about the drama is the relationship with Yu Liang. I think they could've spent more time moving their relationship from rivals to actual besties. It felt rushed. The grading tournament and Shen Yi Lang's arc could've been shorter.
