the version I watched (ep 12) was about 18 minutes shorter than the other episodes, it's probably the cut version, it's a shame what these censors do to Chinese culture, it ruins the whole work, the emotional connection of the viewers for reasons that don't make the slightest sense

yes, brotherly love, but I think they did that because there are a lot of BLS with this plot of boyfriends and adopted brothers.

I'm straight so it doesn't matter to my parents, but when it comes to gays they're more conservative but not in an extremist way, in my country gays have been allowed to marry since 2011, I think what brings homophobia here is mostly Christian religious discourse.

Any story that connects with the public needs emotional scenes, and China's habit for censoring anything that refers to gay people is ruining people's experience of the works.
