I confess I'm impressed, because I've read and listened to people from countries that don't have censorship saying that queer novels wouldn't make money, do danmei novels mean when the protagonists are gay? or do they have other meanings?

in my opinion, yes
Firstly, I didn't sympathize with any of the characters, if they all died it wouldn't make a difference, the FL in fact I agree with most people here, she can't act and has no charisma, a character with no function in the story, several of the characters' attitudes don't make sense, cartoonish performances, I'm not a big fan of corporate plots, there are several reasons. They could have made a bromance between the main actors, the end of one of them. etc.
