those who are worried about incst. ML and FL's generation here are 1000 years apart. At his point they are basically strangers. Usually I'm the first one to object if there's even a hint of incest. But this one isn't. I know the time traveling part won't make sense since ML is FL's ancestor but tbh this is not exactly a plot heavy series.

i explained my reasoning in the last portion and as for male lead in female centric drama some of them have flaws too but that's very different type of flaws compared to the fl here. and that's where comes the 2nd male lead syndrome.

speaking as a woman who mostly watches female centric romance dramas I seriously don't like romance in male centric dramas for some reason even I don't understand. I didn't like it in Joy of life and i don't in this one too. maybe i self insert myself in the female lead when it's from female perspective . so can't really see any faults in the female leads but in male centric drama i don't do that so the negatives of the female lead is way too obvious from a 3rd pov.

I'm neither a hater nor a lover princess Li'an. I just simply don't want romance. I'm a sucker for romance usually except for male centric dramas like this one or joy of life.

from what was shown in the drama lord wei wasn't in love with the empress but the duke yu's(emperor's brother) wife.

it's male centric drama and not romance heavy. if you're here only for the romance then forget about it.

does anyone know other dramas with similar vibes where the FL starts out poor but then with her witt and skills become rich?
