Yeah JD are extremely unpredictable and I have watched a few but the amount of Non-consensual kisses and groping by the SML or some random co-worker who has interest towards the FL suddenly in the middle of the drama, even when she was in a relationship with the ML kept me away from them.

The next 4 episodes will be, the ML trying to set the FL up with other guys and the FL meeting the SML on 1000th day at the mountain and start having conflicting feeling while spending more and more time with SML to find if he is his destined man while making the ML jealous in the process, this will drag on till the end of 8th episode with the ending of FL being saved by the ML and a surprise kiss from the ML shocking the FL, then the next three (9-11)episodes will be of denial mode with ML chasing and trying to impress the FL and she still being confused whether he really love her or not, and in the process will meet the SML to clear the things making the ML further jealous, the final proposal will come at the 12th episode and the 12-14 will be filled with fluffy romance, kisses and dates, the 15th episode will end with FL getting Kidnapped and on 16 episode the ML would save her and the writer would put his little bit of imagination and make it a HE or Bad ED according to his mood...........

Don't know when this crappy and repetative story telling will stops in Kdramas making me now more invested in Chinese ones, atleast their is something new.

that's why I feel " Our Beloved summer" was the best in this second chance romance category, it didn't have nonsensical drama and was more focused on healing and how the character changed after there breakup and healed themselves.

where do you find it as Xianxia, it's clearly a wuxia drama as xianxia genre is completely invested towards the cultivation system but here it clearly seems to be more like a rom-com type wuxia drama with schemes, romance and not focused on cultivation, also there is wuxia Tag mentioned in MDL.

It's all about the audience as mostly women are the major contributer of rom-com drama viewership forcing the writers to dwell deeper into the FL points of view more as they could relate better with it, I think their are very few or none ML centric or his POV as a first person shown in any romance centric drama and if it's their is then it would be totally different genre like bromance, action or thriller dramas with no romance.

I feel their is more and more Chinese movies and drama are coming with Chinese going to African continents in name of help. Slowly and steadily their are now a lot of chinese mens in country like Kenya who are marrying the woman and increasing the population of mixed breed, who are fed with Chinese values and culture from birth, isn't this making African continent again recolonized.

A few years ago a chinese man working in Kenya told me that he was taught about all the cultural and ethnic values along with how to mix up with the people of Africa and about the places which are mainly rich in natural resources since he was a child. I hope we have some good strong leader otherwise it would be too late till we realize what kind of propaganda is going on.

I think most viewers are complaining about the role of the character been played by the actors rather than the actors themselves, Shi Yan was like a affectless person with no facial expression what so over throughout the drama except when he is jealous and Shu Yi role was like a teenage girl who is chasing her first crush and acting all flirty and childish but doesn't know how to proceed when things starts to move forward. Overall there was no honesty in their relationship and it looks more like a short time fling going on between them because of physical attraction rather than a compatiable healthy relationship.

now I get why MDL put the tag Flirty FL, I think it's not just with the ML but the girl clearly doesn't have any boundaries. From the start of the drama she was never serious about relationship and all the problems her antiques could cause; she goes on dates with Yu You even when the Leads are in relationship and never once told Yu You or her mother about being in a relationship clearly and then hide everything from the ML, even had the audacity to ask the ML's Niece and her friend, whether she should choose b/w a Uncle or a handsome professor when she had already confessed her love to the ML. And now after breakup she is still having all the Fun and enjoying her whole time with another guy who had already told her that he is in love with her and chasing her and instead of creating clear boundaries between them she is just getting more and more closer, and I won't be shocked if she would start dating the new guy if the writer doesn't make the ML take any approach towards her again because of his unconditional love like from the beginning.

I think they are heading towards breakup from the end credits and the new Yi guy will further intensify their conflicts with his closeness with his relentless pursue and work with the FL.

from the end credits, it seems there will be some kind of breakup b/w the lead couple due to the misunderstanding of his niece and FL will leave Shi Yan and spend more time with this Yi guy becoming his friend while he continues to pursue her in the coming episodes.

The biggest difference between ki chul & Eui Jung VS that of Joonmo & BIBi relation was that,
in Joonmoo & Bibi relationship Joonomo never accepted her love , he always tried to divert the topic whenever Bibi wanted to advance herself on him and never once said that there was any romantic feeling in his heart towards her also he was always trying to put some boundary between them because of his faithfulness towards his wife, also he used to only go to BiBi when he needed some information regarding the case of drugs dealing.

While in the case of Ki chul & Eui Jung relationship Eui Jung always tried to hide everything about her past with Ki chul even when Joonmo asked her clearly. She never tried to avoid Ki chul advances and even took more initiatives to either declare her love for him or his emotional attachment towards her, also most of the meetup she had in the starting where like an ex but later it got completely mixed and she started to reminiscence her past spending more and more casual time like genuine couples trying to make Ki chul a better person through her love and give him a future rather than helping her husband in the case, also near the last few episode way before Kichul death she started to neglect any care for Joonmo emotions and how he felt when she showed emotional or physical care for Ki chul infront of him. Even in the last episode she had a completely devastated look when she saw Ki chul being arrested by cops and even followed his car till the accident spot, all these instances adds up to show that towards the end she really started loving Ki chul again and after the death of Ki Chul, she knew where her heart lied
and that she can't continue with Joonmo anymore as they both removed their rings during the Promotion scene.
So it seems like if the FL had atleast tried to keep some distance like Junmo had with Bibi and had a clear head that she was trying to help her husband and not so much physically and emotionally attached with Kichul than Kichul wouldn't had felt so much betrayal like Bibi and would had left her for her happiness.

Jung Gaechul was a drug dealer and a Gangster, who knows how many kills where under his belt before he reached the top and even thought the writer tried to show some humanity in him towards the end but still he needed to face the wrong he had done in the past.
The most pathetic was the fact that writer made Jung Gaechul role as a little cry baby who was acting more like a teenage boy in love than a boss or gangster of the International Drugs chain.

she was struggling between both the leads, her feelings where never over for her first love as we can tell from how preciously she was still holding the photo, necklace and other stuff both shared when they loved each other and tried to hide about the cross necklace when joonmo asked. She also didn't once tried to tell about ki chul being her ex to joonmo. Many were saying that during the kiss scene she was crying but if you look clearly even Gi Chul was crying because of their hidden emotions that came out with a bang. Also in the last episode when Ki chul was arrested by the Cops she was completely broken and followed his car, there where tons and tons of instances and lies she was making with herself, Ki Chul and joonmo because of the conflict in her heart and wanted to protect both of them towards the end because of her guilt and love for both .

I think this was the best ending, the fl was waving on both sides towards the end and wanted both to return safely, even if the leads got together to make a happy ending, they wouldn't had remained same as junmo was getting disgusted by the fl lies and her care towards Gichul and was opening his heart more with BIBI. Hope they make a 2nd season with Junmo and BIBI as evil couple.
