As someone mentioned in the comment below and from the leaks, she fake dated with some other guy during her 17s to make him leave pursuing her in order to make him leave to the foreign for studies after seeing Jiang Yi father beating him when he rejected his proposal of going to foreign, so ultimately all these years Jiang Ye thought that she was in a relationship with someone else and never dared to contact her again and removed all her contacts, .. that's why Huang Ying Zi always felt sorry for deceiving him and asked for forgiveness when she got drunk and told him that she regretted her decision and wouldn't had done the same if she knew he would completely disappear from her life for this long....

I don't want him to suffer more, he already suffered all these year with the misunderstanding that Ying zi created to send him away and when he thought that she was already in a happy relationship with the guy she was holding hands and he never dared to call or come in contact with her for past 12 years till she herself chased him, and if he again misunderstood that she had started to like Ding Ye now than he would never be able to tell his true feeling in order to not damage their friendship again because for Jiang Yi being an extovert, Ying zi had been his only comfort zone and support all his life.

Yes, there can be cheating and FL doesn't seems to be interested in ML and avoiding him all the time, already she was ready to date some other guy in episode 1 and went to him after removing her ring, so it doesn't seems like the leads will end together unless, they intentionally put them together again.

No it was his friend and the girl from bar; but the ep5 ends with FL asking his Hoobe what he thinks about her and if he likes her?

May be I'm biased towards Jin Shi Jia because just last month I had watched his drama "The Heart" and still couldn't get out of that one, also It seems to me that Ding Ye is going to die in the coming episodes, so FL fulfills all his last wishes and would have a heartwarming relationship with him.

It feels she has better chemistry with Ding Ye than Jiang ye and would spend more time with him in order to fulfill his bucket list that she found in ep13, from the leaks they both seemed to be enjoying and spending more time together in the aquarium and amusement park in the coming episodes. The Show is made from the FL points of view so she is completely dominating and having better screen time, while the other characters are just like second leads moving around her life.

Exactly the story is heartwarming, of how the FL overcome her trauma of betrayal and moves on with her life with the ML.

Overall the FL fiance mysteriously disappeared on her wedding day without any contact and had also sold the apartment that they had brought to live together, from someone she cames to know that he has taken his flight to Europe on their wedding day. So our FL decides to chase him in order to find the reason for his disappearance, leaves her job in china and goes to Europe on 1year visa to search him and move forward in her relationship, where she meets our ML and they both works together and try to find clues related to the FL ex, but in the process slowly falls in love with each other.

He is only shown in one episode and asks the FL to forgive him but the FL was already in relation with the ML, he was badly in debt and had gangsters following him. So the ML and FL decided to pay his debt to save his life.

synopsis is right, this drama is from the famous xianxia cultivation novel, " A mortal's journey to immortality".

don't know how rating works as most of the korean dramas just starts with a rating of above 8 while the chinese ones are mostly around 7.5-8 till the half of the drama is over and barely crosses 8 even if the drama is extremely good.

It's not about male tears; I believe the script writers are females and they only know how women feels in romance and are only able to exploit the FL character clearly and replace the ML with their dream prince charming who is genuine, loving and without any fault, they are just hypothetical or just part of their imagination of how a male should be.

Is their going to be a love triangle between Ying zi, Jiang Yi and Ding Ye? As the relationship chart arrow shows Ding Ye liking Ying zi and if its gets serious than it would become extremely difficult for me to choose as Jin Shi Jia acting is extremely solid while this is the first drama of the ML I'm watching.

She still wants to go to UN; and would definitely leave him and come back regretting leaving the job at UN because of her love, this way the writer will have a chance to portray that she has changed herself and had a character growth becoz she isn't remorseful about her earlier breakup and even told that to the ML clearly in the latest episode.

My latest 3 drama romcom are "Only for love", " Got a crush on you", " welcome to samdalri" and now this, all have this one thing common they have a ML who is Simp and dormant, and will love the FL till the end of their lives, while the FL is extremely open, free-minded and carrier oriented with a pet dog like ML and two three other pursuers on the side, and would throw the meat to all of them from time to time to make herself seem confident and entertained.
Overall these ML are there to only to make the story of the FL move without any self-respect, future, aim or backbone of their own.

I love the humor and comedic timing of My boss and the actress matches perfectly there in her newbie roles, I had watched her other dramas like love is Panacea and she is completely different there.
