same here don't want to waste time on ep10 watching the love triangle with the FL spending most of her time with SML while he is busy flirting.

exactly there are plenty of older kdramas where the FL tries to date the SML after nearly half of the drama is over and her still having a simple misunderstanding with the ML , so for the next 2-3 episodes it will be filled with jealous ML while the FL busy herself dating SML that too after assuring everyone along with the ML from the start that she only treats SML as friend and than the main leads will again get back together near ep14 with her saying sorry to the SML as she still only loves the ML or the SML himself letting her go as he realizes where her heart lies and bla bla bla... .. with the last two episodes for the ML to date and have a happy ending. Nowdays with 12ep at least such two timing stories has reduced a lot.

Very well explained what most misses, the FL has no boundaries. She is just shooing him off but not really annoyed or tried to be angry at his cheeky behavior and sometimes even enjoying the attention he is giving her.

Again the same repetitive plot with a poor jobless woman (cinderella), getting two famous personalities like a prestigious prosecutor and a famous Idol falling for her head over heels all of a sudden when she hasn't even dated anyone yet and don't seem to be having any great qualities for man dying for her, atleast give us something that makes it seems like the leads romance is believable. Also don't know the kdrama writers obsession with the love triangle can't they write a good fantasy or other genre story with romance decently.

All nonsense is written in the comment section by the feminist group; in reality the ML like PWX can only be written by a female imagination who wants not a man but a loyal dog.

The biggest problem with the chinese modern drama is there monotonous tone and less use of cliches and cliffhangers which the koreans have greatly mastered, I still remember watching few old C-dramas and they were completely bland with barely any Ost and most of the drama revolving cheating of one of the married couple. Nowadays atleast a big improvement can be seen in terms of direction and sound selection.
Also Xu Kai last drama with Yang zi had a very similar plotline with first 10 episode taking yang zi to break up with her boyfriend and Xu kai being same stonic CEO ML who barely shows any emotions in the initial 10-15 episodes making it also lacks in rating.

It's all about teenage girls who loves to watch a romance where many male chases female leads and love her whole-heartily, it's just like a serendipity for them making them rate such drama very highly.

in which episode does FL and Yi chen brake up, as I have watched 5 episodes and they don't have any misunderstanding yet and are quite supportive of each other, Yi chen has also brought a ring to propose for marriage?, Does their romance drags as I don't like the way ML is longing for her when she is in another relationship, it's good that FL hasn't shown any feeling towards him in intial episode yet otherwise it would become another cheating drama were they deliberately create the misunderstanding to make ML and FL come together by doing dirty on SML.

I think the story is quite repetitive and atleast 5-6 chinese drama with similar plot have come within just this year making audience less interested, and fewer engagement. Also chinese modern drama has lower ratings compared to the korean ones, while the costume chinese drama with reverse-harem easily ends up with above 8..5 ratings.

it's not the SML that is irritating the viewers but the Main lead themselves, one is a simp and another is just fickle and what they are showing is just a toxic relationship.

Best ending would be PWX leave LR alone and find someone who truly cares, respect, trust and love him, don't know what he finds likeable in the LR character making him to go such length.

He was talking about the emotional suffering that LR faced due to PWX abandonment for 17years and as for who killed her its all three near ones of her LC, SRQ and Sangguan Ya and she also killed PWX, this is not a full white love story, every character has a motive of what they did in the past and aren't just straight up evil.

It's more of a feminist empowerment drama; If you are a female and want to see a man begging for love from someone who killed him and cuckolded him in past life than you would definitely enjoy it.........

Can anyone explain to me why everyone is categorizing SRQ evil and hating him? weren't in the past life just like him, LR also killed PWX the one she seems to have loved and now they both still love the same person they had killed in their previous life doesn't that make them equal, also he killed LR under the order of LC her own brother doesn't that make LC also evil ? and while the FL killed PWX after assuming he was the reason for her death in revenge doesn't that makes an equal reason for SRQ to kill the Royal family in revenge as they had annihilated his whole family and destroyed his own life.
I know most of the audience is pitying LR while blaming SRQ as evil when in reality they both are working to protect their own families, LR established the inspection office to protect the royal family from the noble families while SRQ is trying to stop her working in inspection office to protect his own noble family. And for those who are saying why he is insulting PWX now and than, then they should also consider the past he had with LR where she literary used him to replace her husband and fulfill her physical and emotional needs, he had stayed with LR for past 20years and had seen all her emotional scars while PWX has just started scratching the surface making their relationship jumping back and forth.

I think the SML would stop chasing FL when she herself confront him directly to fu.k off or starts taking PWX side openly infront of him, until than all of us has to bear with our sorrowful SML and the beautiful OST he has,

Qinzen died long back before she kept SRQ and I think she herself told ML that she knew that he loved her, am I missing something? I think she choose SRQ as she felt him and herself to be same kind of people and equals, while both being lonely and alone with no one to care for them. Also you're right that she wanted to flaunt SRQ as he was the only person who was more powerful, handsome and a bachelor who loved her unconditionally in the past.

from the preview it seems like FL is going to misunderstood 2ML as his childhood friend or crush while the ML keeps hiding his childhood name and identity to protect the FL. This will lead FL to decide to move out of his house and life so she could start her dating with the 2MLand stop giving false hope to the ML as she still thinks she loves her childhood oppa.

Exactly I too have dropped it, the story is completely one sided with the ML being the biggest idiot and simp in both the life, its good he got cuckolded in first life and would have loved if they show him getting the same result in second life.. Now I would only watch " Follow your heart" as it has atleast a well balanced Male and female relationship and no begging and bitchy FL.
